I'm post cancer with radiation induced osteoporosis. Sadly I wasn't told about this side effect until several years after treatment. Thank you so much for helping me prolong my quality of life.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR A TRUE QUALITY OF LIFE IS NPP, NANDROLONE PHENYL PROP. ITS WHAT LUBRICATES BONES AND JOINTS. WATCH MIAMI LIFE AND FITNESS CHANNEL. SHE KNOWS THIS HORMONE
Dear Bob and Brad and Sara Meeks, this series has been so very much appreciated. As someone newly diagnosed and scared to death, Sara's information about the Meek's Method is just what I needed. I am trying to absorb all of them, thanks so much!!
That is exactly where on my left hip I feel the most discomfort and inflamation. I don't have a table nor am I able to get to the floor, so I guess I'll try in my bed. I have a very FIRM bed. Thank You Sarah!
Thank you so much Sara I think this such a wonderful exercise nobody ever told me about and I need all the exercises I can use that my body won’t be compromised. I’m a year out of a 12 level spinal fusion! So grateful for all you do for us!🤗💕
I would love to see a follow along routine put together with all of your excercises for osteoporosis. They are fantastic! Trying to put them together myself is confusing. Order of movements, number of reps, daily practice, etc, . Thank you for all of your knowledge.
Osteoporosis DEXA two weeks following a femoral stem fracture and next day titanium anterior hip replacement surgery. Definitely weakened that muscle. Goal is to toss this cane walk sans wobble. I am definitely weak left leg. Downloaded. 81yrs old female. Still doing therapy. Thank you!
Sara, I can’t get down on the floor. Is it ok to do these on the bed? I do standing abductions using a chair like Bob and Brad showed. At PT they had me doing side abductions on a cushioned table. I will put more care and thought into them. Just 3. Counting to ten for each. PS I like how you emphasize the heel. I have been doing your heel and arm yoga stretches and they really help.
If you do it on a bed, I would recommend a firm mattress. You could place a folded blanket on the area you are lying on OR place a board there. A firm surface is best.
So here is a question. I should preface with "I have tight hips" and femoral osteopenia T-2.1 When I do the leg lift following the directions and backed up to a sofa so my back is straight, I experience cramping in my inner thighs. What might cause that? I can do clamshells until the cows come home. FWIW any time I have had a leg cramp from excessive walking off trail in the woods, it has been in the inner thigh. Oh and thank you so much for this informative series and a life of helping others!
Basic Tae Kwan Do exercise. Do each side and muscle fatigue won’t matter. Do many variations - toe rotation and knee bending positions included. Include plenty of leg stretches. Traditional MA is for exercise as much as self-defense. Most people can avoid physical confrontation but not the infirmities of old age!
So enjoy her sessions! But may I aask her to not to wear dark clothes, can be difficult to see her movement of the exercise she is demonstrating. My beloved Bod & Brad wear socks? pants or tops that show their movement. Tks
Thanks for your demonstration. I do side lying leg lift as part of my daily routine. But I saw demo videos doing them by lifting the leg slightly behind you and pointing the foot downward and leaning slightly ahead. Is it ok to do it that way? I will start to use your method as well.
For better range of motion and a good warmup, try lying on your back and moving leg out to side…lead with heel, keep knee straight, 3-5 reps. This is gravity neutral and the leg lift is against gravity…so is harder.
it doesnt.... what helps is NPP, which was made for osteoporosis. it lubricates bones and joints. watch my video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vm2y3ey1cF0.html
Is it ok to have a pillow under your head? Or supporting your head with your hand? I have slight vertigo when my head is flat. Thank you so much Margie Joffee
i’ve sciatica due to a bulging L5S1 disc awaiting surgery on the 15th but the last few days my calf has been very tight. is there a possibility of that being a blood clot from meds or something or do you guys think it’s just from carrying weight differently due to my sciatica? Many thanks.
