Greetings! osu! is a wonderful game as it allows so many ways to enjoy the game. If you enjoy retryspamming hard rock maps, or if you never retry with double time, that’s all fine. There is no “right” way to play the game, but there are some patterns players "maining" certain mods have. Whether you are a sweaty tryhard, or just a casual enjoyer, I hope my video helped decide which mod to focus on based on the observations I made by interacting with the enjoyers of each mod in my many years in this community. If you enjoy some of these mods differently than how I described, let me know in the comments!
I hate the fact that I chose NM but I'm also glad that I chose NM... I've been over focusing on streams for a year now, yes I'm better than before for sure but now that's my tapping skills are ok I can't say likewise with my aim... I always thought that aim comes naturally with time and that you are not supposed to focus on aim (like spamming tv sizes with diff spikes) but I guess it's just my fate playing with a mouse and I'm just coping in a way that I almost only playing finger control/stream maps...
I got pretty decent aim on mouse by practicing 160-185 bpm crossscreen jump spam maps. That has been helping me consistently push my aim. Try Grandsenpai maps, plasma, carbon, nebu and more. Those guys have jump spam maps.
@@BUCKikwi honestly saying... If'd really wanted to push my aim that hard I'd just play stream related maps beyond 7* like yomi yori or usa, I don't want to specifically play aim maps to learn because I don't want to be mocked for playing them plus I just don't enjoy it
i go through phases of mod selection, i took the time a while ago to get comfortable on every mod so now i can just play whatever im in the mood to play and enjoy it
DT only crackhead here (strictly non-HD ((thankfully))! If you have ADHD its impossible to retryspam. I either FC it first try, or maybe the second, but I never retry a map over 3-4 times. The caffeine part is true though....
A usefull tip about HR : if you want to get better acc with the mod or want to combine it with other your UR should be around 90 below even better if it's 80 or 70 below which you can see most experience player often get with the mod. The other benefit with get used to play with hr are while it is quite though first and mid progress due to small circles and high od you pretty much gonna get used to it and uncounsiously think cs 5 like cs4 or even 3 and don't sleep on ant map if you really really want to get used to cs6 and above. Another tip is you probaly want to distance your monitor or laptop abit far if you want to feel the tension.
I have been playing for 8+ years only dt ar10.3-11. And I play cards with a star rate of 6.5-7.3. I have very poor accuracy, so I only play to pass and score as many combos as possible. I already forgot what farming pp is, because I play cards much higher than the level that I should, but it’s fun. Because of this, I completely forgot how to read nomods, and I will never be able to play them normally again due to the small AR. What is my diagnosis?
You said it yourself that you play maps well beyond your skill level. If that's what you enjoy, totally fine, but if you are looking to improve, you need to play closer to your skill level.
Ive been playing hr since I started the game it was my first 100 and 200. The only reason I dont play nomod is because I cant really read ARs below 9.8 now. Recently ive tried getting into dt tho and learning alt and its kinda working.
Greetings!
Said a pony with pink hair.. but no no nooooo true men; true men dont worry about what they play at all. However Halftime is the most manly mod you can find because then you can play with a beer in one hand and the added brain latency from the sweet nectar isnt a problem.
