Seeing a LOT of people not wearing masks even though we're in the middle of a global pandemic. Absolutely terrifying seeing people putting so many lives at risk for their own selfish wants. Glad I stayed home....
People were actuslly really good about masks in the con itself, its just that when people are outside doing photoshoots, they often will take off their masks. It was also REALLY humid out so outdoors was horrible in a mask
@@dexterlacroy4132 Yikes. Masks are still the best way to prevent the spread of coronavirus, along side with getting vaccinated and double boosted. With winter coming it's almost time to get your next booster! Stay safe out there we don't wanna see ANOTHER spike in cases.
@@sparklesparklesparkle6318 I'm about to get triple boosted but at some point we have to accept and move on instead of permanently complicating entire society with distancing and face mask policies dictating any and every situation. At this point it's no longer about solidarity to anyone, but more about bending to fear mongery. Yes, the pandemic is real but let's also be long term realistic. Cars, guns, pollution, poverty, crime. Much danger, but we shouldn't let it control our lives in oppressive detail.
@@dexterlacroy4132 Listen these are all good points, but with all due respect, we are still way too early into this pandemic for us to start opening back up, stop social distancing, and I don't think there will ever be a time in the future to take the masks off. This is just the new normal and we need to internalize and accept that. I think we need lockdowns right now more than ever. Superspreader events like this are going to destroy our society and harm those most vulnerable in our community.
