I regret that I didn't find out about CC sooner than March 2009. Crystal radiates charm, brilliance, charisma, super sexiness, and fun. Her physical assets are also considerable, including those glorious eyes, mouth, eyebrows, awesome hair, and a fabulous body. I also adore the way she wears clothes -- she can be super feminine (like in this video but then wear a power suit like nobody's business.) Ms. Chappell is the complete package would makes her the bona fide goddess of love!
Then what can I say? 🙂I discovered the actress Chrystal Chapell in January 2023 and thus I missed all her films and series and on top of that, none of her series can be found here in Hungary😒
happykt- You've been enchanted by the Goddess. I too have lately discovered how absolutely awe inspiring CC is. All that you say is true and I'll add that she's an accomplished actor, putting everything she's got into all her scenes. CC's range is wide..she can brighten your day when she's in love and make you grieve when she's in anguish. I guess what I like best is her humor and sense of comedic timing. She's a class act, prime time in day time.
Ohh Lord all these women look so good in this episode. Especially CC and JL on the rooftop in the sunlight!! CC has definitely the most beautiful eyes damn, love her! Can't wait to see them together!!
My heart belongs to Natalia/JL but damn, CC looked beautiful today! I wish we had more scenes with the two of them, there isn't much time left, damn it!
Carolm007: Thanks for your post. I usually don't get involved with prolonged discussion on these boards, cos I've seen some honest sharing of opinions turn into handbags at dawn! But it was 4 in the morning and I was pretending to work, and Briezzy was fun to chat with. Its kind of neat to shoot the breeze with someone half a world away! I think we kept it respectful despite our differing views. That's what I love most about this site, bringing different people together. Amen 2 that.

Wow,lots going on here. The roof scene was very good especially with the few smiles Liv couldn't help flashing. And did Olivia call Nat 'honey' at 1:15? Definately slipping endearments unconsciously. The scene w/pissed off Frank was funny. Olivia seeing Frank loading up on beer and cracking wise on setting a better example was great. Then offering coffee had me laughing. Lastly Blake pretty much outing Liv to her mom and Liv going along w/ it . Can't wait to hear the rest of this girl talk.
Agreed to CC - thank you for being fantastic! I'm sooo invested and starting to get discouraged... :( ... we only have 17 shows left. 17 SHOWS!!! And theyre not even playing Otalia every day... *sigh*...
I didn't know. I was just going by what I remembered in People Magazine and the Guiding Light 60th Anniversary Coffee Table Book. Also, keep in mind that on shows they SORAS the characters which means that Blake is somewhere in her early 40's. What was really cool was that in 1994, Elizabeth Keifer did a picture with all of the other Actresses who played Blake. Cheryl Lynn Brown, Elizabeth Denehy (Brian's Daughter) and of course Sherry Stringfield.
Crystal Chappell looks absolutely incredible in this ep. Nice to see her an Holly together too. And SHE SMILED @ 0:31 and 2:38, things are looking up!!!
CC looks soooo gorgeous here. Liv is so cute trying to push Natalia away and failing. I can't stop looking at CC in her impersonation of Olivia, just love her, love her. Liked that even if she tries to stop Natalia she talks about how much she loves her to anyone who wants to listen. She's not ashamed, nor frightened to speak about being in love with a woman, I have to love her. I mean even if they would not be together (they will of course) she is not denying, she's out of the closet!
I was just wondering if Liv is not a little spooked by this Nat....Strong, secure and knows what she wants. L: "Just go marry Frank." N: "NO...I love You." L: "Just leave me alone." N: "NO...I Love You'" L: "You have to stop." N: NO...I'm patient and I Love You." I'm sensing a theme here!
ingu1-Just reading the back & forth interaction between you and Briezzy96, and found your pro's and con's very interesting. Sort of like watching a tennis match between two champions. I love the discourse we all share. You're all amazing.I've really been enjoying my Otalia experience since stumbling across the 'My Two Mommies' episodes a couple of months ago. Yes, I'm hopeful for some real kisses from our pair,I've imagined all sorts of scenario's. Some of the fan vids are hiliarious.
I think the rooftop scene and coming out to Holly are my favorite scenes so far since Nat's return. They were sweet, poignant, and just plain lovely. Finally, the heartfelt apology I had been so waiting for. And Liv acknowledging to Holly she still has feelings for Nat and she's considering what to do was great. I say the scenes, as short as they were, really did move the story fwd. I felt like the romance of the Otalia of old was back, if only for those brief moments.
Sweet that Liv 'fessed up at the end. She's so unbelivably cute. The breakfast scene was a nice touch (except the traffic- lazy sound people!). Got an apology from Nat and she genuinely sounded contrite. Still don't think it went far enough - she apologied for staying away too long rather than leaving without a word which is the real bone of contention. She did acknowledged the hurt, but didn't apologise for it. But she's getting there; see Liv's smile at 0:31 and 2:40 - she is so melting.
Yeah i saw that from the critic upload too. I don't know if you saw the Otalia spoilers for today but it said that a lot of other stuff was going to happen, stuff about Nat and Frank putting troubles aside for the baby and Olivia going for a walk then going back to the roof. Do you know if that happened or it was cut or something?
There's a little part missing. Olivia finds an enveloppe in her office saying: Come to the roof. Very Important. She tries calling out keira but nothing. then we cut to this scene and her saying ''hellooo?''
Ok, I just watched the missing part of this clip..it's just a few seconds long when Olivia finds the note (I had thought it was odd she just happened to be on the roof, LOL) She's at her office and finds a big enveloppe. Inside a note saying: Come to the roof. Very Important. (in big black letters) Liv looks puzzled and calls out the mysterious keira to no avail. then this scene. Just thought I'd share. :)

ingu, Yes, Nat should have said something to Liv (and I think if the writers had been true to her character she would have.) I personally think that Nat going away was the best thing she has ever done for herself. She is so much more self assured and confident and she truly knows what she wants and needs...OLIVIA!!! I got hooked on RU-vid. ((I don't watch TV much at all and definitely not soaps. I understand the whole" life is real enough" thing.))
So, how many times does someone have to apologize before it's believed? Does it mean any more said 100 times or just once sincerely? She apologized when she first came back twice actually. I think saying it any more is now just trivial and they are so beyond trivial. Nat's sorry; she's explained and now her mission is to get Liv to trust her again. Briezzy - good point. She is emoting so much with those eyes (those eyes!!!!) I agree with you, could definitely be pain. Could be discomfort with the subject; definitely a defense mechanism cos she breaks eye contact with Nat at that point. Still think she's narked. Things are definitely raw for her. I too am looking forward to them moving on. I'm not sure how I will cope when this ends *lol*. I never watch soaps (my real life is usual real enough for me) but wow, really. Just wow.
ingu1-I felt the same way about Natalia's apology. I wanted her to acknowledge how wrong she was to leave without word, just prior to their 'coming out' at the BBQ. More empathy for Liv would have gone a long way towards forgiveness (for us too). Anyway, I liked Natalia's hand grazing. Her hand sort of caressed and lingered a bit. Need to hurry things along and get a few kisses in before their run is over.
Briezzy96- I would never tell anyone here to go to hell, I enjoy the free association too much! Everyone's entitled to an opinion, whether I agree or not. I think both you and ingu1 had valid points,articulated well and entertained me too boot! I sometimes rant about plot twists, like the damn pregnancy or moments during Natalia's absence when the writers had Olivia doing insane things, but generally keep things light. I appreciate 'heavy hitters' like you two..keep it up, I'll be watching.

really? I didn't even notice the noises. Those eyes of Crystal's make it hard to notice much of anything else. Just like the FOL scenes in May when people pointed out the plane flying by, I was like "what plane?"

Briezzy, I never said Nat was randomly apologising; I was givng a general example below, hence "anyone". Anyone can feel bad for someone in pain but a "soulmate" should be able to empathise, know your crumble-button like their own. I'm not getting that from Nat. She knows O's fav foods, but she doesn't know the cause of O's breakdown, or at least she hasn't articulated it clearly. She says she stayed too long? How about not going in the first place and why no messages at all while gone?
ingu, as for the narrowing of the eyes, don't you think that's just pain that Liv is reliving? I hope you don't think I'm defending Nat's actions. I just know that once something is said or done it can't be taken back no matter how much we want to. All that can be done is a sincere apology (if needed) and forward movement/ action on both parties part.
ingu, Yes, a soulmate you would think should be able to empathize. However, it doesn't always work out that way. I think Nat had to go. To figure out what she really wanted and needed for herself. Remember, everyone Including Liv only "wants Nat to be happy" but only if it works for them too. Liv, I feel was the most honest . Briezzy, I get what your saying: an apology is an apology. But anyone can randomly apologise when they know that they have hurt someone. Doesn't mean that they understand that person's pain, just that they feel bad about it. Nat needs to let O know Frank-style (i.e. with sock puppets) that she is in sync with O on what went wrong. Watch O look away when Nat talks about staying away too long (1:59). There is definite narrowing of the eyes, like O thinking "that's not it at all!"
There's a 13-year difference b/w Maureen Garrett (Holly) and Liz Keifer (Blake). That's pretty normal by soap standards, I think. Consider there's only 9 years b/w CC and the actress that plays her daughter Ava. Soap casting is weird like that.

ingu, do you really think that Nat is just randomly apologizing? I don't think she is that unemotional. And you're right I don't ever think we can feel someone else's pain especially if we have caused it but we do feel pain. Especially if we love that person and we know that we are the reason that they are in pain. I think it's Liv's turn to start listening to Nat and to realize how much Nat has grown and become her own woman. Still, the wooing is a great turn on.
