Othala - The Meanings of the Runes - Odal 

This was crazy. I started using runes a couple of weeks ago. My first time in your channel and got Othila... Your last rune in this list. The message was very meaning full. Also today Othila, the Odin rune and Hagalaz jumped out of my bag today. And I usually only take one out per day. It felt like a really strong message I still have to figure out

I haven't finished the video but wanted to share my personal interpretation of the rune, it feels like an inheritance of wisdom that has been passed down that i am now ready to share. ( I have been working on business plans, all encompassing my spiritual jorney) What happened was, I sat back down at my computer after saying a loving and powerful thing to my sister when I could have just treated her badly, I had also been contemplating how a psychic told us once we were enemies in another life and weve come back as sisters to heal that. SO I come back to my computer, unknowingly put my hands together and make this shape of the rune Othala. I look perplexed, my intuition goes "this is a rune" I proceed to search and almost immediately find the rune and its meaning. I am wanting to dig deeper as I can feel there is much power to be discovered ! I begin here :) thank you for this!!

I was at a store today and I was drawn to this stone; this one particular stone. When I got home I saw a symbol on this stone. In my way of life is said if it calls for you there is a meaning or spirits around you; your ancestors sending you. So can you explain me why this rune came to me in your understanding? The owner I purchased it did not notice a rune on it when I called to inquire. He said that is weird I don’t purchase items like that to sell.

Hi there you stated this is the last rune but I have one more. It's blank and is labled Odin.

Question from a complete beginner witch. Is it possible to draw an agiz rune and then a othala rune on top to make a home protection bindrune? P. S In order for the bindure work properly (home protection) Do i first draw the athala rune and then the agiz rune or the other way around?

It also means an "O" sound when writing in Elder futhark, side note my understanding of the term "odal" is that it looks a bit different from this: ᛟ in that is has uplifted lines at the bottom of the symbol and comes from the Germanic region and is more common in the "you know who's" appropriation of symbols than the Othala ᛟ which comes from farther north.

Note that the nazis used the name odal not othala, and their version has the wings on the bottom that the original rune lacks. Also, If you listen to Wardruna, the song odal has absolutely nothing to do with nazis, it's a beautiful song that he performed with his children, and it's about passing on not only physical belongings, but wisdom and tradition.
