I met the lead singer after they opened for Bon Iver in Berkeley. He was really nice, shook my hand, and thanked me for buying one of their shirts.... and he was completely stoned.
Yeah...I can relate. I like being stoned too. And honestly, listening to Other Lives high is a real treat. Jesse's voice is so damned beautiful...he is one guy I would just love to sit and smoke a doobie with.

Everybody is commenting "I love this band, blah...blah..blah" and as I love the music (it's why I'm here), hasn't anyone been blown away by the incredible production of the cinematography in this music video? Probably one of the best top notch music videos I have ever seen. Wow.

A dreamy song. At that moment, it seems like things are happening that would never happen in reality, you are flying or all times are flashing before your eyes. This feeling has always been the same for me for years.
More importantly than sounding good on their albums (and they most definitely do), Other Lives is absolutely killer live. If you have an opportunity to see them, do it, you definitely won't regret it.
I agree, I discovered them as the opening band for Radiohead and what they do is amazing. Very rarely will you see an audience asking for an encore to an opening act and these guys deserved it. Hope they make it big
I saw them by accident during Lowlands festival last august in the Netherlands. Didn't know them back then but I just had to listen to this pure brilliance
holy shit i remember listening to these guys as kunek, before they rebranded, when i was a kid. they were my very personal thing, my personal artist and now they're doing millions of views? insane how things progress.

I'm counting down the minutes to their London gig in 3 weeks. Haven't been this excited about seeing a new band on stage in a million years. Totally blown away by their studio material. Grandiose landscapes of cosmic melancholia à la Sparklehorse/Grandaddy/Radiohead filtered through the epic Far West of Morricone. And the Kubrickian/Floydian references of this exquisite video aren't but the cherry on the pie. Still, it's the pie that counts. And I can't wait for my first helping.
This is the first song my ex boyfriend showed me when we first met each other. I still listen to it as it's now one of my favorite songs. However, everytime I listen to it , it makes me miss him and want him bak. :'(

Bu şarkıyı bir şekilde beğendiğim müziklere eklemişim Spotify'da. Her dinleyişimde "Bu şarkı Dark'ın hangi bölümünde çalıyordu acaba?" diye düşünüyordum ve araştırıyordum birkaç gündür. Meğer çalmamış, ancak bu yorumu görünce ikna olabildim 😅.

@@timoverseio1149 Yeah, for me it's the same . I was so shocked when I figured out this wasn't the music on the serie. I've been listening to it since I first commented on here :d and I won't be tired of listening to Other Lives. This band is so special and talented with all the chord progressions and the way they play their instruments and so on.

I'm french and I saw "other lives" in concert to the "cité de la musique" in paris, it was a very beautiful concert and their music makes me dream, these songs are so beautiful . I listen them all the time. I hope they will return to Paris for another concert.
I was at their first sold-out concert in Europe Thursday! :D They are really really good live, I'm sure they will become HUGE, it's just a matter of time! :)
I saw them perform in Philadelphia PA a few years ago. Was so impressed that I bought one of their CD’s at their merchandise table. Was not disappointed at all!
