It’s still a different walk from every day life. The model walls are much much different then walking down a street and yes the skirt does seem to not have a slit in it to insecure the longer stride but nevertheless she walked wonderfully
Unfortunately the modeling world, it's a flex. You should see some of the things they have models do to train to walk in shoes you surely never could. Like 6 inch stilettos on a balance beam. So it's a flex... You just don't understand.
The first thing you’re taught as a model - NEVER LOOK DOWN. EVER. I remember the words so clearly . They would make girls redo the runway before they even finished if they looked down.
Yeah in the second step she was almost about to fall and she didn't look good at all. I don't understand the obsession, the fear on her face was clearly visible, infact the models before her were way more fierce and graceful
Some gigi hadid's fans are just so crazy like i support gigi and ik she's iconic but i dont compare her with other models and looked down others models like i am sure gigi would feel exhausted abt that too

I agree. She's BEAUTIFUL!!! I wish they gave her a bright coloured outfit to display. The contrast against her beautiful dark skin would have looked amazing.
I mean, if I were a model in 6 inch heals walking down a small flight of stairs without looking where I was stepping, I would most likely miss a step and break an ankle. I would much rather look where I’m stepping and avoid breaking an ankle. Lmao
That's incredible, buuut they even teach to look down so you don't have the risk to fall, so I don't think it's so pleasant to watch and looking down makes it more elegant and subtle
I absolutely love Gigi, but I don't think she has a very good walk. Don't come at me, like I said she is Amazing! I just can't put my finger on what I don't like about her walk.
Looking down the stairs for one second is a natural thing to do and it makes the walk look more elegant and fluid … looking straight up looks unnatural
