Otis + Maeve || please don't leave me here 

People say that Maeve wasn't as good for Otis as Ruby, but honestly, I think Maeve was the best thing for him .. she made him feel like he was both nothing and everything at the same time. Yeah, she took the piss out of him all time at first but she also challenged him to not be so nervous around people and to believe in himself when no one else did, not even Eric really. Otis also helped her to open up and start to have faith in people again. Ruby, on the other hand was the only one growing from that relationship, really. Plus they didn't compliment each others personalities too good, if anything they clashed at times. sad thing is that relationship was doomed to fail from the start since the only reason they started going out was because they slept with each other at a party he threw to get over Maeve...

Few episodes with ruby is not gonna change anything..otis and maeve are soulmates.

I don’t even care if I’m alone in this… but Maeve is on another level for me. Just like he said in the voicemail… “It’a always been you” I felt that they deserved to explore each other a lot more as boyfriend and girlfriend. And now I feel like crap because she’s probably gone for good and everyone is going crazy over Ruby so that will likely make de writters go for it.

There is no way Maeve goes to America without hooking up with some dude and having to come back to Otis and admit what happened. The writers are not going to allow them to be together right when she comes back. There is too much drama and story to be told then to ignore an opportunity like America to continue the drama and tension between them. There is one thing I can't understand: Maeve needed only a few (one or two?) days to forgive Isaac his horrible decpetion (and even started a romantic relationship with this "Isaac Guy"). But she needed a few weeks to forgive Otis, although she knew he tried to apologize.

Some people might disagree with this, but maybe the writers should just let Maeve be that girl in everyone's life who teaches you how to love without any further romance. The Otis and Maeve love line has been dragged for way too long.

I’d much rather they break up and now run into each other a few years later when they’re both older and more mature, that way their love story can really start without any stupid drama getting in the way. Every couple in this show keeps breaking up because they’re all still so young and still figuring themselves out and we saw how jealous and childish Otis was when Maeve’s mum took her sister, Maeve needed him more than ever then, she was scared for her sister who was in real danger and all he cared about was Issac being there, they need to grow separately before they can come together again, maybe at the very end of the series, because I heard the actress that plays Maeve isn’t coming back next season, hence the whole America thing so that would work well I think 🤷🏻‍♀️

I totally loved them in season 1,2. But when Ruby happened (s2 ep 7) I totally changed my mind. Otis & Ruby has more spark. I enjoyed Otis more when he was with Ruby. I know writers are showing that Otis loves Meave & It's always been her. But honestly I dont see any chemistry between them anymore. Their 1st kiss should have felt magical. But literally I felt nothing. There were zero spark. Even there goodbye should have left me emotional. But I was watching the whole thing with a poker face on. On the other hand the whole Ruby & Otis thing left me emotional. I connected a lot. Mimi did an absolute amazing job with the character "Ruby". I want Otis & Ruby to be endgame. I'm hoping that if next season happes writers should consider Otis & Rubys relationship development & Make Otis fell in love with Ruby. Ruby was never confused about Otis. Meanwhile Meave was confuse sometimes. So, it's Ruby I want for Otis. (Sorry, My English sucks!)

Ik many are shipping Otis and Ruby and no offence to that but please dude!! Its not for anybody else but OTIS!!! Its only and truly about Otis this time! He deserves Maeve! He deserves to be with her, he wants to, wills to be with her, he thinks she’s his person and most importantly, OTIS frickin’ LOVES MAEVE! He frickin’ earned it! So IT SHOULD BE OTIS AND MAEVE! It has always been them, it is them and it should always ALWAYS be them! And that is it! OTIS DESERVES TO BE WITH MAEVE or it would be an injustice to him. Ever seen how Otis looks at Maeve and she looks at him? They never look at anyone else like that! See Otis's expression when he gifts maeve a 5 years diary and Maeve calls him when he's about to leave (idk for classes maybe). His heart craves Maeve like no one. He frickin' DESERVES to be with Maeve. And tbh, so does Maeve. Otis and Maeve are a lot like each other. They help people even if those people are terrible to them (i.e when Otis helped Adam despite him being a complete jerk to him and Maeve helping Ruby all though she slut shames her like literally all the time (Ruby was being happy and smirking even when drunk Otis rebuked Maeve which clearly shows Ruby despite Maeve helped her is quite ungrateful wheres she should have been a bit at least a tad bit nicer and if not so then be neutral to Maeve)). They even showed that, no matter how many times otis had it with Ruby, he said with Maeve (the kiss) was the best (upon Eric’s query) so no matter how and where the storyline goes, Otis did love Maeve thoroughly. With everything he only loved her so far! And about Ruby, im sorry again but all she sees is herself. She didn't even notice when Otis wasn't in the bus and if she's just about herself (which I really didn't quite like) then how on earth does she even deserves Otis and earned the shippers? So I really dont see the fuzz about Ruby. All she did was to fall for him eventually (which is i dont think to go on '"OMGG'" for). Otis is lovable and her loving him seeing how he actually was, was very natural but by no means she's been either helpful or nice to anyone but her so-called untouchable trio friends! So i literally see no reason for fans going crazy for them (maybe just because they showed their romance, sex, and making out a lot more) but whoever will see how Otis sees Maeve and how even Maeve looks at Otis, can never want anyone else for both of them but them! No hate! Ruby perhaps is nice but for OTIS!? HE SHOULD ONLY GET MAEVE. HE AND MAEVE, FRICKIN' DESERVE EACH OTHER AND IT WILL BE A HUGE INJUSTICE TO BOTH OF THEM IF THEY DON'T GET TO BE WITH EACH OTHER IN THE END! Besides, why would we ship anyone else apart from Otis and Maeve? They have never been able to have feelings for anyone else apart from each other! Neither could Otis come across loving anyone else nor Maeve! If they’re not the end game and together, Idk what to expect from any series that has love in it. No other couple deserve each other as much as Otis and Maeve do! Please! Do this justice! Dont make this an another disastrous series! Would be nice to see them together for a while, but Maeve have done some bad shit to Otis and they have a lot of not spoken between them, that's why I didn't see them as couple after season 2 for the end. As Otis said, it was ages ago and as Meave said, they have changed... And after season 3, I don't think they have to have a happy ending, it doesn't look real.
