Just wanted to let you know, I was in El Paso yesterday and visited the Gardner Hotel. The elevator will be ripped out sometime in the near future and replaced completely. I gave them my number so they can call me when they do this so I can get the buttons. Was told the elevator works, but they don't use it because it's not up to code.
Thanks for the update. Did you get an updated video when you were just there? Although I do know that you don’t film as much anymore, but I just want to know. Very shockingly upsetting that they are going to be ripping out that elevator.
@@JimLiElevators I did not film any videos there. I went in and asked about the elevator and the guy working there said it's going to get ripped out once they have the money for a new elevator. It is very upsetting. It actually still works, they just don't allow anyone to use it because they think it's unsafe for people. I don't film as much, but am uploading old videos. I start working tomorrow at my new job in Phoenix. I live in Phoenix now and I can tell you, I love it a lot. It's a lot nicer and a lot friendlier than Tucson. Anyways, when I start, I'm gonna put filming on hiatus for a few months. I hope you've been well.
I thought Tucson was the friendliest for a while when you lived there than it is for Phoenix. Yes, I’ve been doing great so far. I’m so happy to hear that you are moving to your career and that you are doing well! Anyways, I definitely apologize that I took you off my friends list on Facebook about couple of months ago (and likely talking about you a bit). The reason I did that is because I got into a nasty confrontation which tripped me into a very bad panick/anxiety attack, and also failed a test due to that incident. I am definitely better right now. That was like almost a month ago already, so all the negative incidents I involved in are completely over. I’m about to start school myself tomorrow, so I will become pretty busy.
@@JimLiElevators That's good to hear that your negative incidents are over. Sorry for the late response. I've been busy since I started working. I only have weekends free. The people in Phoenix are friendly for the most part, but as in every city, you'll sometimes find rude people. I got busted today for filming in a parking garage that was attached to an office building. Was not aware it was private property. It almost escalated to having to report me, but after talking about my RU-vid channel and what I do, the guard let me go, but told me not to come back and film in the future. It was private property so I respected that. He kind of came off as a little rude though, but I was able to diffuse the situation. It is harder to film in Phoenix than Tucson, but overall I like the city much better. I don't really consider the easiness or hardness of filming when choosing a place to live or when looking for a job. I go for the benefits and stuff. I wasn't doing so well in Tucson, so I decided to switch to Phoenix and boy have I improved since moving. I like it here much better than Tucson. I like big cities a lot. I'm not really a small city or small town person. Tucson was nice, but too small and kinda found it boring.
@@SkyvatorProductions Do you still plan on making friends? You did tell me once that you are gonna have to start all over again, like... possibly a year at least, just when you first moved away from El Paso going to Tucson. Also, what were you doing in Lubbock and when did you last travel? Also, did you finish or drop out of grad school or something? Those are some curious things I wanted to ask you upon your departure from Tucson. I remember you had made a few friends according to what I saw on Facebook. I think you probably would have to start all over making new friends again I guess.
