Always good to see the whole sort of DIY part of the process shown for educational purposes. I think it's important for a lot of writers to see that especially cause even picking up one or two tips from you will save lots of people tons of materials and time experimenting! Great stuff!
A thank you brother Sciz! I really appreciate that a lot man! Yes the idea was to show the process and my mistake’s if any so the heads watching won’t. Just wish I had the red to make more colors, but then the video could have ended up an hour long 😂
@@RustyGraffitiReviews ha yeah. I wish they made more colours of this too though! It would be a good one to add a bit to a white out fluid for a nice tinge
Taking me back to helping my cousin and his friend make mops out of pens, brake fluid, and shoe polish bottles and all 3 of us having blue thumbs just for one mop lol great vid and the buff test is sweet!
Blue thumbs, blue pants, blue spots on the kicks 😂.funny you mention the brake fluid and shoe polish bottle. Y’all finna see all that in the ghetto krink video coming up. Respect ✊🏽
I don’t know how I missed this comment??? Yeah man. that shit is mean for real! I think I’m gonna use the leftover blue and left over red and color some streaks.
IN MY TIME WE MIXED THE INK WITH CLEAR GLUE AND THAT WAS OUR MOPS OR MIXED THE STREAKS WITH RED OR BLUE INK AWESOME TROW BACK BRO AND IMPROVEDMENT FROM THEN TO NOW
Damn he said with the clear glue! That’s an old move for real! Yup soak the white streak in the red or blue and you got a lil color on it. Yo thanks for peeping out the channel. I’ll give you a shout out in a future video!
Spitting straight facts bro! I’m a really old head and we used tf out of pen ink. I’m kinda stoked it’s been bottled up like that, but I kinda think you’d save money doing it yourself lol. Also I need a dying mean streak tutorial! I’ve been trying to figure that one out.
Yeah g the fact they stuck it in a bottle is the best ink idea I seen in a while! It’s pretty cheap, 10 bucks for a grip of it. I did all 3 of those mops and didn’t even put a dent in the bottle. But you know how the stores always got those buy one pack of pens get 6 or 7 free deal’s going on 😉. That always helps save some feddy’s 💵 ha. Yeah I forgot to ask in the video if anyone wanted to see that I’ll make one. Thanks for the feedback big dawg!
@@RustyGraffitiReviews Where i live, you don't get such good deals on ballpoint pens as you do in North America. So this stuff from OTR is even cheaper than buying the cheapest of cheapest pens and extracting the ink yourself. I just love that stuff!
ill go for the paint and the concentrated mix... ot will have more resistent in the sun and more durability with staining...just a killer combo!!! very good video!!!
Good choice man 👍🏽 it definitely stays up in the sun! I got some outtake tags I wrote before the New Years getting baked in the sun still and they look just fine. Maybe I’ll make an update post showing em.
Great job on the vid...i was laughing at the beginning yo🤣 got my bottle in the other day, I'm feeling it! Shit man 10 bills is hella proper for what you get, been doing some different mixes and it's fun to mess with. I liked how the green turned out on here...bleed through looked good too! I'm digging the speed white i copped as well....otr doing it right!
@@RustyGraffitiReviews cool! Look forward to it! I saw the silver mix on your video announcement thing...looked kinda like the rusto oil based and terpentine/ paint thinner mix....if it is that or something similar to that, will be a good one! Either way whatever it is, keep it pushing! ✌
Yup that there blue drips like a mofo but cuts through like a good one - the less we add to formulas does keep the purity of each component but its fun to mix it up - good review bro, fresh for 22
Yeah g That classic mix goes hard man, I wanted to make a few colors but I think it’s better ta show how strong the pure uncut was! 😂 they may have not have came up with it but the fact that OTR bottled up the pen ink was the best idea I seen in a while. Thanks g! hope your new year’s is kicking off right! I’m all stocked up with the paint for next project!
Yeah g I did the hard to buff in the 10mm round, it’s a good video but I didn’t do a bleed test on video but the outline of Santa in TSW7 was HTB and I went over it with a dark green roller paint and he bled through the next day also! I think I have enough stuff to make q head to head test of the top name brands! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RVNJHxtjZvQ.html
@@RustyGraffitiReviews cool, nice one!! I just remember hard to buff amazed me when I first used it all those years ago. The cleaners didn't know what had hit them haha
yo rusty! where did you find that yellow flowpen ink by OTR i cant seem to find it anywhere. 6:04 or or if anyone knows anyone that sells it link it below.
I would just start off slow with both, ink for about 5 or 6 seconds then small splashes of alcohol while mixing. Depends on how thin and opaque you like it.
If you really want to make one bottle into a big think of ready to go ink just get a big mason jar pour almost half all over the bottom and slow add alcohol and use mixing stick till he’s nice, then add the rest and repeat
