[OU+] Ambipom & Weavile Beat Up Standard Teams! Pokemon Ultra Sun Ultra Moon Wi-Fi Battle  

AND I OOP-... So I ended up being very very wrong about how beat up's damage calculation actually works and didn't put enough research into this video. For some reason I mixed up base attack stats with the attack stat itself. So since beat up relies on the base attack stat itself and not the actual stat, you can easily do this at level 50 to the same effect! However, the beat up base damage calculation is much much lower than I mentioned in this video because beat up works off of base attack stat, not the raw attack stat. Kartana has a base attack of 181, but it's attack stat itself at level 100 is over 500. Beat up relies on the base attack stat, not the raw attack stat itself. Kartana's individual hit on beat up is only 23 before stab and technician is taken into account, not 55 base power like I said in this video. So basically beat up is still strong, but not nearly as powerful as I mentioned in this video. I'm sorry for spreading misinformation with this video and I thank everyone who corrected me because spreading misinformation is not okay. Now we know to just stick with beat up justified in doubles, and not try to make beat up actually deal damage.

Weedle, your explanation is wrong lmao, you counted the whole power after ivs+evs, and the formula clearly says "party member's BASE atack stat" so, kartana for example, deals a 181/10= 18.1 ---> 18 +5= 23 * technician boost= 34.5 not 82, if every hit had an 82 raw attack damage, the final hit after 6 would be 492 raw base power, which is hillarious btw. Yw keep the good work!!!!!

Absolutely loved watching the video. Beat Up is such a massively fun move. I remember relying on that a lot when playing through a rom hack of Pokemon Black called "Blaze Black". One aspect of the hack involved Pokemon having better abilities and among them, Weavile had "Technician". Seeing everything die by just that made the experience so fun! Glad to see it here again and learn much more about it. Great job once again Weedle!

Hey, I found a forgotten move I haven't seen in a long time that might be useful in doubles, since they use protect so often. "Feint" says it breaks through protect-type moves for the turn. Hope that helps!

I think you calced the beat up damage wrong, it takes into account base stat not final stat. For example on mimikyu each hit did way less damage than what you assumed to be each hit's base power. Hence pokemon's level, nature or EVs won't matter

It's also very possible that your second opponent legitimately forgot about Teravolt or didn't realise that it would disable Disguise, and thus didn't bother playing around it.

Hold up- That shiny Rayquaza used V-Create, and the only way you can get V-Create on a Rayquaza is via the event in Black and White, where said Rayquaza is programmed to not be shiny. Hacker confirmed.
