I agree with this. Emma eventually earns it, of course she does, but not to more than Regina in any way. When I found out that Lana actually had to FIGHT the writers for Regina to maintain and build a relationship between her character and Henry I was so appalled. Like... The stupidity and gall.

Abimael Marin I'll give you that point, however, at the end of the day Regina's not a threat to Henry. Also, would you leave your son with someone you don't know, someone who has a criminal record. Also the only thing Emma knew about Henry is she was his birth mother and that is not enough. If Emma was not the 'savior' would you hold the same opinion?

She was about to kill them, you can't expect them or henry to trust her right away. Trust needs time to be build, specially if you broke it in the past.

IKR it's like she has done everything for Henry, but he's just like "Emma's my mom" "I love Emma" and it's just like REGINA took care of him since he was a baby and he doesn't give a fuck, she may be "evil" when it comes to other people but never with Henry

Can you really blame him this time though? Regina wanted to cast a curse on him so that he would unwillingly love her. I wouldn't want to go with her either at the moment. What if she secretly decided to cast the curse on Henry after? She's full of tricks. I know she just wants time with him and all but in this scene I don't blame him.

I guess I understand. Thing is, he was a kid who lived a good chunk of his life believing he was not loved and that his mom was the evil queen. You see, once he gets older, he realizes that he really did love her and she was not truly bad.

Yes, but he was a spoiled little brat, who didn't care about Regina until Season 4. Honestly there are times when I think Regina should've let Pan keep Henry's heart, she would've been better off.

Well magic is just a tool. Merlin also knew magic, but he wasn't evil. Also, think of this, do you think it is a coincidence that all bad people got magic? I didn't think so. You see they all had bad bad time and a really messed up life to begin with. Rumplestiltskin was abandoned by his mother and father, Cora had a hard life as you say, and Regina had a bad mother, bad childhood, bad marriage and whatever else fate could burden her with. Now why did they even acquire magic if things were good? Because they needed a way to get back at life, and the people they were hurt by. Scholars are a different case here by the way (like Merlin you could say). Even the first Dark One had a bad life case. So yeah.

@@Tranquility1222 Emma never killed thousands of people out of spite, or murdered the huntsman when he was of no longer use to her, or try to make Henry believe he was crazy for believing in fairytales or trapped Belle in a tower for years, unlike Regina, but go on. Not to mention that Regina was trying to kill them in the previous episode and a few episodes later as well, but Emma is the bad guy for being "self righteous", can you not think that perhaps she has every reason to be upset giving Regina's history? Would you cuddle with the person who is trying to kill you and your family? Please.

Well she was pretty good before her life was basically blown up.

Because as misguided as Regina was back then, Henry is still her adopted son that she loves and cares about. And before she got along with Emma and the Charmings, she was at risk at losing Henry.

Azrael Gorge Except nobody is saying that guns are actually evil but moreso the access to them and how easy it is for people who want to do harm and do mass shootings in some states is the problem, purchasing them as well as carrying them over even to states with stricter gun laws. Bottom line a gun is a tool, to kill (magic isn’t) and asking for better regulations and closing already existing loopholes isn’t a bad thing, especially when we hear about mass shootings happening literally days and even a few hours between each other in this country.
