OUAT THEORY: Predicting the “Final Battle” 

UPDATE: So I was RIGHT! It WAS the hat! And they DID sort of evacuate! This is why I am putting this theory very high up in my "best theories" playlist, because it's the only one of my theories that blatantly came true. But anyways, the rest of this comment simply details more evidence I didn't share in the video :D I believe that Henry has his memories in the recursed Storybrooke, for one of two reasons: Either he was spared by Fiona because he is technically apart of Rumple's family, or because he's initially from the land without magic. Probably the first one. Also, I believe that Rumple will be happy with Fiona here, but when he discovers that Fiona didn't spare Belle of her curse, he'll turn on his mother and search for Belle, ultimately pinning them against each other and making the black fairy lose. I also believe that Fiona's curse (because Josh Dallas said in an interview that the new dark curse would be broken with an act of true love exponentially greater than season one's) will be broken by Henry, who will jump out in front of Emma or something, causing him severe injury. This is why we see him in a neck brace in the BTS pics. Or maybe Snow & Charming sacrifice themselves? IDK. Henry sounds far more likely, especially since in season one, it was Emma who saved him. Now he'd be returning the favour... I mean, we already see from spoiler images that he tries waking her... I also believe there will be lots of sun imagery in the final battle. Fiona bears the mark of a crescent moon, therefore I believe Emma will be the sun. Not only do they constantly sing about it in 6x20, but the title for this episode has a sun in it, and more small things are hinting. Emma is the bearer of it, as she opposes Fiona. And perhaps Gideon will get his happy ending? I fell it'd be very fitting for him to revert to a child, or at least start anew.

What caught my attention from the episode synopsis, is that Gold wants to know what really happened to Belle. It makes me think that the Fiona won't keep her end of the deal with Gold that Belle and Gideon will not be effected. Especially since Gideon is fighting Emma in the preview.

I wish the show creators were much more interested in these world-buildings and connections.

So, I was there for some of the filming of this episode. DO NOT CONTINUE READING IF YOU DO NOT WANT CANON SPOILERS. So 1st the person with charming so sword IS Henry. I was right there when Jared was filming it. And the actual final battle. So we were pretty far away and it was hard to see everything because all the lighting and sound equipment but this is what I saw; everyone is there in their wedding attire except Emma who is in her classic outfit. Before Emma goes she talks to Regina. Then Emma goes to fight. During the fight Killian screams "EMMA NO" which is the only thing I really heard because Colin was so loud. From what I saw it looks like Emma throws her sword onto the ground (appears to do it by her own choice) and gets stabbed by Gideon and falls to the ground. Then Gideon runs off and Regina, Killian, Zelena, Snow, Charming and Henry all run over. It was hard to tell who but I think Henry kisses Emma on the forehead and Emma gets back up. Then everyone gives her a big group hug. There was also some cute CS moments (that made me cry but yet again I cry at literally every scene with them because they are so fucking perfect) but some of it was hard to tell if it was just Jen and Colin or actually Emma and Killian. Also, i don't know if it is earlier or later in the episode but Emma and Killian go fight crime together. Killian is wearing a sheriffs deputy badge and they drive off in the buggy with a siren on top. The scene where you see Emma kissing Henry on the forehead appears to be right before she leaves storybrooke. There was bags in the front of the buggy and she closed the top of the front trunk and went and kissed Henry on the forehead then drove off. The only other scene I saw was a cute scene between Robin and Zelena. Also Giles Matthey (actor who plays Gideon) sweetest person on earth. He came over to get pictures with everyone in between takes but there wasn't enough time. Then it started pouring but he felt bad he didn't get pictures with everyone so he came back in the rain to take pictures. He also came over to talk to us all multiple times. Sweetest man ever. Colin (actor who plays Killian) was also super nice and took a group picture with us with the 5 minutes he had between takes. And as I said we were not very close to where they were filming and he still came over even with his broken foot! I asked Colin how his foot was doing and he said it was sore. Watching the show film is an amazing experience and if you ever get the chance to visit Steveston Richmond (it is right outside of Vancouver) while they are filming I TOTALLY recommend it. It is so much fun to see storybrooke in person.

Now see, I think there are so many twists, you can see them a mile away. Like 2 weeks ago, if Rumpelstiltskin had killed the Black Fairy, i would have been shocked. There are still surprises, but it is still getting predictable.

I have a theory that Lily's father whoever he is is closely related to the Black Fairy, Lily's star birth mark on her wrist the same place Fiona got the crecent moon when she became the black fairy mark and the apprentice gave her a necklace with a crecent moon saying it was from her father. Coincidence? of course not. If the apprentice was her father how would he be connected to the black fairy? why would he give that gift to her? How does it explain her birth mark?

I love all these once upon a time episodes. But I am so sad that Jennifer doesn't want to be in the show anymore. :( but I can't wait to see an upgraded timeline/family tree video.

Always love watching your prediction videos for this show because it also helps me questions and figure out what will happen and what's to come. Though what I really appreciate and respect is your love for the story and how the writers go about making this insanely amazing show. The shippers to me normally destroy a show simply because the story or should I say the "romances" didn't go their way but how the writers had planned the show to go so they simply complain and threaten then vouch to never watch the show again when there is so much more to the show in the complexity of the fairytale stories. It's like those people who complain that "oh another curse or another spell" yet that is what drives the story forward. That's like saying Buffy The Vampire Slayer sucks because there's always demons and monsters to drive the show forward nothing new yet that is how each episode goes and that's Once Upon A Time with curses and spells. So besides me disliking those people who complain yet I have just done the same thing? This show is really brilliant story wise and I wish the real, "OUAT" fans could see that instead of only caring about romances.

I have another theory. I thought Lily (maleficent's daughter) could be the one destined to fight with the new Savior during the final battle. Indeed she was born on the same day as Emma and she also has the crescent mark on her wrist like in the prophesy. Adam Horowitz said "Next season? Oh yeah, we have plans. You’ll see, hopefully they’ll be great." and "We know what stories you feel like we’ve dropped, and we’ve got an episode for you next year.” They said her and Maleficent will be in season 6 at the same time they said the characters of Wonderland would and we can see something related to Wonderland... so maybe Lily will come back too ! What do you think? :)

The only storyline I can imagine for season 7 (no more CaptainSwan, SwanQueen, Snowing or Rumbelle) is in the wish realm. In the wish realm there are the EQ, Robin, (older) Henry and Hook. Snowing is dead and Emma of course went back to Storybrooke. I'm sooo sad about everyone leaving 😢

Season 7 prediction. People are already theorizing that the new actor joining the cast will play a grown up Henry. There's also a little girl joining. I'm guessing that's an older Robin. Zelena gets them out of town at some point, I'm not sure about the rest.

I watch it because I love the story! I love how they take my favorite characters and twist their stories so they all connect. I also love all the incredible plot twists. Though, I will admit, Emma and Hooks romance has also added to my interest in the show!

..........Wow. I kinda thought for a second there about the dark realm as well as the other realms. What if the dark realm used to have a different name? I assume Every realm has has a book within the museum. What if after each story comes to it's end becomes apart of the dark realm?

I know there are loads of theories on this tv show already but if you really like the complicated story lines you should definitely watch Game of Thrones (while there's time left to make theories for the last two seasons). I would also suggest Riverdale but I don't know how many theories you could actually make for it (excluding who's the main bad guy).

The dark fairy says that Regina was the only one to cast her curse but Peter Pan and Snow White also cast it in season 3. Do you think that would affect snow? Or Regina?

Personally, I think it would be funny if Lily turns out to be the daughter of Hades. Nothing to back it up, just a funny crack theory. My reasonings are. 1. Nice Callback to that episode in House of Mouse. 2. Maleficent is a satan worshipper from what I read somewhere on the internet (I didn't really research for proof of that) so Hades to her would be like, "Eh, close enough". 3. Hades is a greek god so pretty I'm sure him turning into a dragon would be no problem.

I think there going down the Buffy route where in one of the episodes buffy was poisoned and believed she was in a mental asylum and that all she was doing was dreaming about her life so this is why we see Emma burning the book. i bet Fiona will try to convince Emma she is crazy and that she was dreaming the whole thing up and if Emma stops believing that she is the Savior than Fiona wins? its also sort of like Alice when she came home from wonderland and was put into an asylum etc.

Sir Cringe is not significant as he was in season one... he feels like an addon to the show. :\

Forgot to mention that HOOK is Henry's StepGrandfather - Following the romance that Hook had with Mila - Mila being Beafire/Neal's mother. And after the wedding Hook is now Henry's StepFather as well.

I thought it was stated Cora only spared the Enchanted Forest. I believe Oz and Neverland are different realms so can not be protected by the stopping of time. We see it effects places like Arendale (not part of the section Cora protected)where the curse from the Snow Queen lasts 28 years but how did it reach Oz? Was that ever stated that time stopped in Oz. Logically it would have had to for Zelena. Unless Oz is just a far off corner of the Enchanted Forest best reached by twister.

Unfortunatelly if Emma will leave the show it makes all sense her dead in final battle, but I think (and it's kind of a theory) that she will sacrífice herself to save the entire world or someone in specific! I mean, she already faced the Dark one and the BlackFaire and Won🏆! So it's quite unlikely her lose with Gideon in a sword battle. But my really theory is for the person that Emma will (probably) sacrífice herself: REGINA! Think, Emma married and showed her love for Hook in many aways, so he is out; Henry is already protected by Rumple, cause after all his is still his grandfather, and he have the writter powers (although he is not completely out of my list of Emma's potencial sacrífices); Snow and Charming would NEVER EVER let her daughter die for them and they will also leave the show... I believe the productors will give SQ fans at least one big friendship scene: Emma's sacrífice! Now, about the possible season 7: After Emma's dead, the Charmings move to the Enchanted Forest with baby Neal (who has been quite forgotten in the show but ok) and Regina keep in the rule of the city... in the comapny of Zelena, Henry and baby Robbin. It would be interesting to pass the main roles for these 4! And there is no news if they will or not left the show. And (be prepered) the huge twist: Hook is the villain! Why? He lost Emma, the only person he seems care about since the very beginning; he had a heartbreak, exactaly like Regina, and that was what turned her in the Evil Queen. He will blame the person that her true love sacrificed her own life for. The producters said they want to reinvent the show in the next season, and what a best way to do it than with old and new villains, a real battle inside each of them between darkness and light! And that would give space to the forgotten stories reappear like Mulan or Lily... Well, I know, BIG MESS! But if you think carefully about all this points and some more it makes a little sense, at least in my mind... LOVE THIS SHOW SO FUCKING MUCH!!!! 😍 💘 💜

don't try to theorize Once Upon a Time, they have many plot holes and try to place Hook in the narrative so much, they break the timeline for him.
