She used 70k American Airlines Miles to book it so opening a single credit card could land you this flight (Citi Business Aadvantage). Lmk if you got any other questions about it!

One thing that makes Qsuites incredible is the "4 seats facing each other" layout and the "2 seats that can combine into one bed" layout, Great for couples, families and business meetings.

Yes airline reviewers never say what the price was BOTH WAYS.....The round trip flight for 4 people WAS NOT 70K miles & $8 bucks.

280,000 miles total. That would take a lot of spending to get that many miles. As someone who does travel a lot, I’d never use my miles to buy first class tickets. Fly coach. Only fly first when they upgrade you for free.

@@Serena_9 happens to me all the time. I’ve literally been sitting in coach and they moved me to first due to my status with the airline. The more you fly with that airline the better they treat you.

Qatar Airways is one of the best airlines, the business class blows other legacy carriers out of the world. The Al-Mourjan lounge though is incredibly soulless and depressing. The Al-Safwa first class lounge though is just mind-blowing. I've done both and flown all classes on Qatar. The Silver Lounge (One World Sapphire) is excellent too. The Al-Mourjan is just big and soulless.

@@KyleW0806 It's huge, with no character but is better than most lounges. If you're going to use it, go upstairs to the restaurant area, or in to one of the side rooms (I say room, more like size of a normal airline lounge). You may need to book a shower, but you get your own bathroom with toilet and shower. The toilets have attendants that go in after every use to clean it. Overall was happy with it, but in the main area, it's just, soulless.

@@skoodledoo thanks for responding. We purchased two business class tickets to Maldives but was just looking and it’s Business (l) which I guess means lite. We didn’t know because some reason we bought them through jet blue but operated by Qatar. Idk so I guess I have to purchase lounge access now

@Kshea2401 No. If you have business class tickets and is operated by Qatar you'll get lounge access. "Lite" lmao, be prepared to be surprised. This isn't US.

It took me 15 hours to fly from Guatemala to Los Angeles because DELTA changed all nonstop to LA itineraries to an hours long layover in Atlanta. (No not weather nor safety related.)

Trust me nobody is more mortified than the parents. I have a special needs son (his name is Musa too) and I would look into this type of layout but people have no heart these days no compassion and so I just don't fly. It's sad we have to Deny ourselves seeing the family and world due to other people being inconvenienced but that's the world we live in.

If you get a credit card that offers miles and use it for everything and you shop online through the mileage portal, you can earn from 1 to 10 miles for every dollar you spend and all of those purchases could be things you would be buying anyway like gas, utilities, etc.

If you are a person who can sleep a good number of hours sitting in economy then business/first class likely isn’t for you. But if you can’t then it may be worth it to spend the points to be able to sleep. Why else would you want a lay flat seat?

I wonder how much they actually had to spend as a family to get that number of miles? I wonder how they got home? Economy on a low cost carrier or did they have another load of points somewhere? Or did Qatar Airways bring them home for free in exchange for this add? Why did this family choose to take a vacation in Qatar? What hotel did they stay at? How much did that cost? Somewhat unusual vacation destination don't you think? I wonder what kickback she got from Qatar airways for this add. This woman gives average people a totally unrealistic expectation of what they will be able to achieve by using credit cards for their spending in order to promote various credit cards for which she is an affiliate. And they are CHILDREN not Kids. A kid is a baby goat. A child is a baby human.

You can get miles by paying for totally normal living expenses with credit cards. There's tons of multipliers out there too, for hotels, gas, eating out. You gotta really sit there and figure it out but last year I earned 250,000 miles on totally normal expenses and with sign up bonuses. It's not realistic for most people because most people won't sit and figure out the overly complicated system to accomplish this- and I don't blame them. it was a lot of work for a 14 hour experience (including lounge). That doesn't mean you can't though, or that anyone is taking kickbacks.
