Today is the 1st high school bass fishing tournament to hit the channel 🔥 and we captain the boat for two anglers with the Aubrey High School Bass Fishing Team - Blaine & Cole!
This bass fishing tournament took place on Lake Texoma and was for the biggest bag of 5 fish by weight (smallmouth, largemouth, spotted) and also the biggest fish individually.
We placed high enough for the guys to win cash towards more gear in the form of academy sports & outdoors gift cards for our placement in the overall standing after the first NTX tournament of the year! It was a tough weekend for sure. I'm glad there are guys like you to help teach the next generation of anglers. Good on you for taking the time to do this for them. Y'all did well despite how tough that lake has been fishing for most. Even the pros struggled.

It's legal lake texoma is Oklahoma there is 3 dispensaries less than a mile from the boat ramp and weigh in station

Hey Westin - I was fishing the same tournament you guys were. I'm on my high school's fishing team as well. It was a great first tournament! There was a approximately 240 boats. Great video!

As a high school tournament angler the more the captain talks the more stressed or overthinking I start to be just my opinion.

That’s the same opinion a lot should have. Blaine and Cole are newer anglers than most and hadn’t fished off a bass boat before. Different scenario

If he wasn't there giving them step by step instructions these kids would've stayed in one spot fishing the same stuff all day long. It's obvious to anglers and others alike that these two high school young men don't have the experience to go fishing on texoma without the extra guidance from a more experienced angler.
