Dang chief. You guys really gone through the most. Guys, please keep being honest about it so that we youth who really want to head that way can stop fantasizing marriage as if it's gonna be easy or fairy tale type of things. Because I know that if we don't get such content or maybe the graphic part to it. Yeah, we'll be making mistakes of ending marriages over little things, thinking it's the same as dating. So I commend yall for sharing this. Because we don't really think about the part that whenever there's arguments in dating, at least yall can mize each other or at least calm down enough to respond. But marriage, yoh....you gotta sleep in the same bed😂😂😂😂. So I really appreciate that eye-opener
😅 thanks mate. There are other couples who've been through a whole lot more. But the truth is that if both parties are committed to the cause, then it will work. And vele it isn't always easy, but it is always beautiful coz this thing really adds immeasurable value to your character and your partner's.
I know what you mean about perfectionism😂. My hubby just called me out. And there's figuring out each other's patterns. I've seen that, I like things done on time, and thoroughly; hubby on the other side, is so chilled 😂. I'm still learning. We're 6 months in. Thank you so much for this. Marriage really needs divine grace and patience with each other and realising it's a school one never graduates from,as per Adventist Home. Also realising, in marriage you really learn what love is: the need to be patient, kind etc.

I think I'm more like Anele, I want issues to be resolved ASAP... And I hear the disadvantages that you both mentioned. My biggest concern with the other party needing time to process things is that there's no timeframe... And what are we doing in the meantime when we have unresolved issues because surely life cannot go on as usual?
As the party that usually needs time to process, it’s my responsibility to provide a timeline for when I’ll come back so that we can resolve. It usually needs to be a reasonable timeline too and during that period where that issue is still there, we need to at least be cordial so I’ve learnt not to ice him out, but remember that he’s still my partner so a greeting, formalities must still exist. Over time I’ve learnt to reduce that time to process to a few hours instead of days because that’s brutal and I think that the party that needs to process things in the relationship and can’t deal with them immediately, needs to learn to reduce that processing time as the relationship grows because it’s not a trait you want to hold onto. It’s something you need to outgrow because the bible teaches us to resolve things as soon as possible
But the great thing in all this is you love each other I can relate to you husband I'm like him cause my husband will just keep quiet and will be frustrated and end up forgiving for the sake of peace

Exactly!😂😂😂 But CBD was not England CBD, it was jozi CBD 🙈, which was not safe at all. I think the night I did that, I remember walking back home and seeing someone follow me slightly but thankfully I made it back home in time. Learnt my lesson very quickly to never put myself in danger like that again 🥲
