Spike Not taking my stock piped 2021 Tuono (exhaust valve disconnected) as he never got out of second. Mines hit 266 Kph he aint gunna catch me!!!!

My mt07 with the akrapovic is insanely loud and the damn pops are made almost all the way through when I decelerate or downshift.

The Aprilia has a unique and amazing sound. It is hard to describe if not in person. I love my Ducati and it has deep sounds but an Aprilia and a SC short pipe is amazing.

Something you guys might want to consider is a way to actually measure the decibel of the exhaust. Maybe a "from 15 feet directly behind the measurement is X" kind of thing that way you could compare across your own measurements. "A stock Tuono is 89 dB but /this/ modded exhaust on the Tuono is 127 dB. Wear hearing protection, guys."

The pipe sounds damn lovely, especially for what is in effect a straight pipe. I think the tuono is one of those bikes, which when you open the throttle, suddenly you find yourself at the horizon, incredibly quickly

Definitely a mandatory mod. I put the Akra system on my 2019 Tuono and got rid of the servo, cables, passenger footpegs and stock pipe. It took 11.2 lbs off the bike and sounds glorious. I also installed the race ECU.

Just installed a SC Project Race Oval on mine along with a ECU flash by Gabro using the Up-Map 800. So easy to do, and reversible if needed.

Have any sound clips? I couldn’t decide on a slip on for the longest time until a few days ago I ordered a Leiker from UK. They sound similar to SC. Installed Gabros tune as well. 🙌🏼

I have a 2014 Tuono V4 with a Werkes competition exhaust that was installed on it before I bought it. I put the DB-killer baffle in it but it still is almost too loud to ride for long distances. But man. When you let off that throttle and let the backpressure exhaust explode through it sounds *sublime*.

The Tuono V4 is almost the perfect bike. The factory version is a fucking beauty. But I like some features of the standard too, like the windscreen, you can get a passenger with you and some basic luggage if you need to. The MT is good looking too, it's just different.

I find myself on the fence over thinking whether this is the best sounding supersport or an R1. With the right exhaust setup, both are proper savage. Gotta appreciate fine IC engineering while we still have it.

I was simping for the RSV4 engine forever until I sat on one and realized how small it is. I think the RSV has a better idle sound but once you give it the beans, the R1 sounds better imo. I just wish my r1 came with factory brembos

I read about Ducati's solution to decibel issues at a track where every bike was sound tested prior to being allowed on the track. They new they were too loud, but they modified their tach so it read 5000rpm at 2500😂

Best sounding bike ever! Race ECU smoothen low rpm and I can highly recommend it. Combined with exhaust, it is a must upgrade.

Couldn’t see if you have the Race Map installed (or an servo emulator)… if not removing the servo motor will through a code, if you just removed the cables and leave the servo in place you don’t 🤷

Look into getting an UPmap for the tuono instead of the race ECU, I have an UPmap with Gabro racing's fuel map on my 2021 Tuono and the difference is absolutely amazing. AF1's forum actually has a lot of reviews of the UPmap vs Race ECU. Greetings from Dallas as well!

Sometimes the catalytic muffler causes the real muffling of the bike. The slip on does not do much unless remove cat.

SC project makes a pipe you don't need to go agro on with a beater and chizel...the db killer is included but not installed for those who will never even let it smell exhaust...and its italian as well as our italian counter part i.e. tuono...and yes i do know how loud she is

Get the T800 Upmap not the OEM Race ECU, way better on-off throttle. Flashed my 2021 Tuono with it

Just do the UpMAP ECU Flasher, you can return it back to stock and have access to different maps according to your mods.

Aprilia v4 and yamaha cross plane are the best sounding bikes imo. I ride an mt10 and the sound is the main reason i got it. Im not a fan of the look for that exhaust for the tuono. There are much better looking ones.

@@Manny32V 100%. My choices are either the tuono or s1000rr, but don’t want to spend the $25k or the insurance that goes along with it. For whatever reason the MT-10 and Tuono are unicorns in terms of insurance cost and smiles per mile. Miles per gallon is a whole different story though. Lol

Come for me (I mean send me the akra), I just got my grey 22 on Saturday and rode it from Vegas to salt lake, definitely not very exciting to ride around town with the stock pipe since opening it up ends up with going pretty fast pretty quickly, so my 690 SMC r is definitely more fun around town 😊

07 Bussa with roaring toyz 421 megaphone system is more obnoxious , especaliy after you have done a warp 9 pull and the baffle blows out. I have one hanging on the wall if anyone wants one.

one of the tools that might help us gauge on how loud is it is a SPL meter, say 90dB is a normal speaker loudness for a gig show, how loud would that pipe sound? 110dB - 120dB?

Loud exhausts are great until you road-test it and realize that every traffic cop within 3 miles can hear it too and prepare for your arrival. If you want to install it, leave the baffle in. Believe me, it's plenty loud; and if you take your bike for longer rides, your head will be grateful too.

I have the Akra on my 21 it’s so loud with no baffle so I’ve put it back in , here in the UK they have just started using speed camera’s that also do you noise so loud and you get pints 🤬

Well I came for a video giving a bike a nice sound treatment. Then he removed the DB-eater. Wow. Any bike sounds good if you do illegal mods. Thanks for doing something that’s not replicateable for the people that want a street legal bike…
