Lifelong oily skin and acne here. Retinol or retinal is good if your skin can tolerate it. Don’t use at the same time as any AHA/BHA. Beauty of Joseon’s retinal eye serum I’ve used all over my face before and have seen results. If you’re not a retinol person, try a gentle acid or antioxidant. Isntree green tea toner is a solid choice. I’ve found so far that it has helped reduce the oil that causes bumps. Innisfree makes an excellent volcanic clay cleanser. With any of these, make sure your other products are gentle as they will cause some dryness. Me, I use my retinol with the Missha artemisia cleanser so that nothing is going to cause a bad reaction.
@@heathergleiser wow thank you so much for the recommendations!! I have been using the somi retinol serum but I think it was quite strong and might have caused some of the irritation to my skin on the nose area but I will definitely try the Isntree green tea timer! Thank you this is soo helpful!!
@@rebeccas.2737 Happy it helped! There’s a bit of adjustment with any retinol, the dryness will subside sometimes but if it persists try using every other day.
