This channel just gives and gives and then gives some more. Stay with me on this one. Gonna take a while. My father was a HUGE fireworks fan. He’d buy everything they offered at whatever stand we’d end up at. It was always epic. Guy at the stand would always give a deal because it would just be a huge pile of fireworks. He loved to see me and my siblings just go crazy at the fourth. He was a WWII vet, loved this country, loved family, loved people of all kinds and taught all six of his kids to love the same things. Anywho, he’s been gone for 4.5 years now and everything in this video represents stuff we did as kids with my dad. We had go karts, tractors, mini bikes, lawnmowers, balsa wood gliders and property to do all this stuff on. We were full send 24/7-365…just like this family here. I miss my dad, mostly around the 4th. Derek and his family have brought back all those fantastic memories to a feller. Yep. Perfect.

wimpy fireworks in Minnesota, always made those trips to the South Dakota boarder a real treat... "We will take a dozen quarter sticks of dynamite, thank you much sir" Sisseton, SD July 1975...

When I lived in Wisconsin we'd just hit the fireworks stands on the opposite side of the border on 94 and vice versa from Minnesota. And sometimes for cold snacks on a Sunday when St Paul would be dry.

There's a local guy by me that tests a bunch of fireworks and he only sells the best of the best. And if you spend over $100 he puts you in a drawing. We're spent $150 and more than doubled our mortars with the drawing. I love that guy

I am loving this channel. Thank you all for sharing your 4th with us. I live downtown StP and watched some fireworks on W7th. I walked down by the ExCel and saw a good showing of big bangs. I do appreciate your take on it, not sure I would want to Utube myself breakin' the law. LOL, shows you have good sense. I think the 2 of you make a great couple and awesome parents. Fer next time... Bring one of those arch shaped back n forth sprinkler deals. Set it up where you're gonna light the fireworks, turn it on and let the kiddos play in it for a while and get the grass all wet. Then when you set one off sideways it won't burn....as bad. Just a tip from a guy who set 22.5 acres on fire when he was 15 with m80s we smuggled in from South of the Boarder.

i dont even browse the firework stores. i just go straight to the employee and ask them for the biggest they got, if you're luck they'll take you to the back room where all the good stuff is...a guy loves the 6 inch cannister mortars

For the future, next time you come across a $2 inline 4 cylinder motorcycle header grab it. They make great launching tubes for fireworks. Nice and heavy so they stay where you point em' and no waiting with 4 tubes. Hope your family had a safe, fun holiday and has a great Summer!

The 4th of July. My second favorite holiday. It's a double holiday for my Bebita Wife Maria Clemencia and I as next year it'll be our 19th wedding anniversary. We get fireworks on our anniversary 🎉🤩 My momma raised me to think smart. The two days no married man wants to forget is. Number one. His wife's birthday. Number two. Your wedding anniversary. Number three. Valentine's day. Any one of those three will have you sleeping in the dog house or on the couch. Number two. Christmas being number one.

Up until about three years ago, Pennsy only allowed what we dubbed "showers of disappointment"....nothing but things that ignited showers of sparks. If you wanted real fireworks you had to go to NJ or Ohio and sneak them in. They have since allowed Class C fireworks and all is well with the world....or at least on July 4th. :D Thank you for sharing your day and your family with us! This will be talked about the day dad got the lawn tractor and the GT 500 stuck in the mud! Off to watch Jessica make a cake!!!

Let that tater salad heat up in the sun for a good 4 to 5 hours. Have six more adult pops, and then come back to it. Preferably after fireworks so that there’s lots of flys and skeeterz in there. Makes an amazing snack after festivities are over and even more interesting the next morning. Love the channel guys!
