I think i started watching after the first year of "Lord Spoda" after running across the channel and have been a follower every since.

Wow, that is a great success story. I just thought you guys were already wealthy because of how much you spend on food ;) I almost have a similar story, but considerably less adventurous. I also sold a home this year, but instead of traveling across country, I just bought a place across the city for half of what I sold mine for. Now I just want to get back to making videos. Only 10K subscribers and a much smaller niche than travel videos, but I still enjoy it.

I'm enjoying this video just like all the others. What I like is how you present them. You don't make fun, put down, or criticize anything or place. That's refreshing. It's been a joy to travel with you and Nicole as y'all traveled our great nation.

Thank you Joe and Nicole for making this incredible road trip and putting it all on video. In 1968 I enlisted in the Navy in March, I did not have to report for basic training until August. I quit my job, threw a suitcase in the trunk of my 1963 Chevy Biscayne and hit the road. I started from Sacramento and visited many of the places you included in your videos. Route 66 to Amarillo, south to Pampa and Lefors and then to Dallas to visit my aunt and uncle who lived near Love Field. Then to Virginia and Washington DC, New York and New England, across the Midwest, plains, mountains and deserts and back to Sacramento. Three months on the road covering 10,000 miles We visited many of the same places, some look much the same, others are unrecognizable after over 50 years. I always wanted to take another road trip after I retired, but you two saved me the trouble! PS I spent less than $500 bucks, gasoline low as 20 cents per gallon, Holliday Inn, room with breakfast 12 to 18 bucks, steak and eggs in Omaha, $2:25. And I camped out and stayed with friends and relatives. What a treat this has been to watch your adventure. Did you get to Fort Morgan, Colorado? And finally, as a side note, was inducted into the Navy 5 August 1968, was trained as a Hospital Corpsman and assigned to General surgery taking care Marines wounded in Vietnam. Served 6 years, discharged 4 August 1974. Went to grad school and taught politics and government to college students for 43 years... all began with that road trip 56 years ago. Thank you for bringing that trip alive again with your travels and videos. All the Best Ted Blair

I live in the San Diego area. Fortunate to be retired and comfortable but you ain't kidding when you ask can you imagine how expensive it is. We moved here in 2011. Our house has tripled in value. I feel for younger people trying to even rent. 1 bedroom apartments in our neighborhood start at about $2500/month and newer apts $3500/month

Thank you for taking us along on your journey and encouraging some to turn the crisis into an opportunity and make the best out of your situation. You get to see the whole mainland US of A. That reminds me of Snow and Curt, a Floridian couple who converted the cargo van to be their tiny mobile home not less than living stationary for a different reason than yours. They travel throughout the US and American Continental for 4 or 5 years by now. Currently, they are traveling through European countries with two of their beloved fur ball babies. Likewise, life also has an unexpected situation. With health scares and unforeseen situations, they still enjoy making their dreams fulfilled. Check them out.

Your ND video was actually really helpful when we visited up there to look at a college with our daughter. We had a great time in Bismarck/Mandan. It’s also a really great state to go camping. ND & SD have state parks that can give NPS a run for its taxpayer money.

I've watched all videos joe & nick mostly all 98% the most scariest was when Nicole walked to edge of grand canyon. She lost her footing for a second. Made me so nervous thank you for showing & filling in knowledge of our good bad & ugly country will watch more ken sands from Massachusetts
