That is a beautiful garden. Mary really does a fantastic job. Here up North my plants are just beginning to gain some size but have a ways to go. I had to replant my peas. The 1st group did absolutely nothing. I got fresh seeds and they have since exploded out of the ground.
Beautiful work Mary! The videos just keep getting better Micah, thank you all so much for sharing your family's talents and adventures. Caleb is soaking up knowledge from all of you and seems to be really stepping up. God bless y'all!
Mary's garden is looking awesome ! You need to have her do some more garden videos as the season goes on. I really like the wood chip mulch my only problem is I don't know if I will ever get more wood chips dropped off . Those onions are getting big I never grew any much bigger than golf balls but I have grown sets and need plants to grow big ones . Thanks for sharing and have a great day !
The “what is it” appears to be garlic chives. They are good to add garlic flavor but they don’t bulb up like traditional garlic, it can also be kind of invasive if you don keep up with it.
Tell Mary I think she has a wonderful garden. Could you ask her what is the variety of her peas? I've been trying to find a type of pea I grew years ago that looked like those. It's amazing she doesn't have problems with cabbage worms, I have to net mine.
Mary i really admite your Skills and talents. Do you.sell your products at the farmers market? Your garden makes me happy, i cant get anything to grow😢 and i love the ducks, McGie taught us that ducks are excellent as pest control. Thanks for the tour 👋 later
Hey Mr. McGie, Jeff Barry here from PA how many Carolina reaper plants do you have I grew ghost Chili’s ones from seedlings and I made hot sauce out of them and then I couldn’t use the whole crop because that year we had stink bug problems, but that’s not what happen with me. What happen with me as I was in a motorcycle accident and I was in the Hershey Medical Center for a month and I had to go back because I got an infection in my Spleen and I had to undergo emergency surgery so I only got about maybe a quart jar and a bunch of jelly jars that was it. I think they were half pint jelly jars.
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures thank you so much they said I was on the balance beam I can go either way praise God I didn’t, but I didn’t feel like I was in any type of distress. I had nine broken ribs, a torn spleen, bruised, liver, bruise, lungs, and bruised stomach. After they sent me home a few weeks later, I developed a fever and then they had to do the emergency splenectomy and the infection was all over my insides and they had to take everything out, clean it and put it back in but praise God, I’m still talking and I’m still here. also, I wish up here in PA they grew Carolina reapers so I can make my own homemade hot sauce. Now we have a farmers market name Rissers Farm market I don’t know if they grow them or not they do grow a variety of hot peppers last I know they grew habaneros jalapeños and also cayenne chilies. I’m going to be checking them out if they’re going to be having goes Chili’s or Carolina reapers or even scorpion
Mary's garden is beautiful!! I'm wondering about the ducks, ducks really don't disturb the garden plants?? Is it just certain breeds that don't harm the plants? I love watching your videos. I love bare feet in the garden too.
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures I better get book on raising ducks! do the Mallards fly away in the winter? The Cayugas don't fly so you probably have to care for them through the winter. I have a half acre so not too much land. But I have a good sized garden. I have chickens and rabbits and a dog. And 3 piggies on some borrowed land.
