We talk about our back-up immigration plans, if we had a low CRS for Canada - we compare Canada immigration to New Zealand immigration and explain how someone in their 30s can immigrate to New Zealand if you are skilled and educated.

We don't like immigration agents - the ones' that aren't authorized by ICCRC and qualified to help you with your application in exchange for money - first of all, it's not legal to do that, and second of all, it's so easy that you don't really need paid help! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and moved to Canada 3 days before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent and unauthorized immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of NOTHING; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. After months of research and our own experience of applying for a Canadian PR, we came up with an e-book series & this RU-vid channel which would include - errors to avoid, perfect sample documents (my own) and alternate ways of immigrating to Canada - 100 pages of absolute goldmine between these 3 e-books - no filters, no premium versions to these ebooks... everything is out there FOR FREE, for you to read and execute the process yourself! All we are doing in these ebooks is sharing our experience of applying for PR ourselves / structuring and pointing you in the right direction via various different resources that are available on IRCC's official website. The RU-vid channel will compliment the e-book and add some personality and entertainment to the entire process :-)

Forget about New Zealand SMC (Skilled Migrant Program), applications are still waiting for CO (Case Officer) allocation after 17 Months EOI lodge date. People are waiting for their visa to be processes since December 2018. It was good choice for you guys to go for Canada. Otherwise choosing NZ would have landed you in same situation as other applicants.. sitting in limbo for last 17 months and nothing happening.

@@jasrandhawa9296 Apart from being invested emotionally, do they charge some money as well? As in Canada immigration they ask for 1000CAD after ITA. Means if immigration costs money, and they provide a timeline of 9 to 12 months, but still exceeds those, then it can be criticized. But for many who may not have option of Canada or any other developed country, Newzealand is a good option to have. I just want to add, immigration is something like a background process, one has to continue with their job and other plans along with it.

Guys, I appreciate your view, but for Newzeland we need to get a job offer to apply for PR. Which is near to impossible if we are offshore and the best way to make it to Newzeland is only through education, that again draws huge money.. I think second best option is Australia, but its immigration rules change overnight and so it is difficult to get PR though we are qualified. Last thing is German job seeker visa, which is a last resort, but one needs to know a basic level of German to get jobs.. My only take is people on border points and are desperate to migrate has to take an education route.

I was surprised with Newzealand's covid-19 response and did some light research on how is life there. Surprisingly Newzealand is a good option for many. Like Canada they are progressive. Good leadership plus the equality index is good. Their immigration system is somewhat underrated compared to Canada and Australia.

For New Zealand offshore Candidate need to get more than 160 points and also New Zealand will not offer resedency visa to offshore candidate if he/she is not having job offer, but for such offshore candidate they will issue a 1 year or 9 month job search Visa and they will differ(not reject) the resedency visa. So offshore candidate will go to New Zealand on job search visa and if he is able to find the job in their respective field for which they have filled the visa, they will issue resedancy visa, and if not they need to go back to their country after job search visa expires. Also 160 point or above is also must for getting EOI.

@@Potatotalkies , Well this visa has been suspended last year Oct. www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/apply-for-a-visa/visa-factsheet/silver-fern-job-search-work-visa. However, there is an another option where one can get the "Essential Skills work visa" which again requires job offer.

@jigarshah1438
@jigarshah1438 4 года назад
@@noelrakshit Yes silverfern visa is suspended. I am talking about SMC (skilled migration category visa), which is resedancy visa. So offshore Candidate apply for SMC visa only, but as candidate is not having job offer New Zealand visa authority will differ his smc visa, and will issue a 1 year job search visa if he is offshore candidate. And candidate go to Newzealand on that job search visa. If he is able to find the job in his field he can inform Newzealand visa authority and they will issue him and his family resedency visa after some verification of his employment. Job search visa is only given to main applicant, mean while if his family want to accompany him they need to file for temporary visitor visa only, or family can just stay back their country meanwhile main applicant find the job. Candidate does not apply for job search visa, they apply for smc visa only but Newzealand visa authority will issue job search visa instead of smc when candidate does have EOI but not job offer. Also job search visa also depends on case officer. As of now SMC visa is also temporarily suspended due to COVID-19.

Most people think that as laws in countries differ from each other you might not be able to find jobs. From the research i have done so far i understand that this is not true. But i have not been able to get in touch with any lawyer who migrated with a law degree from another country to canada so that we could learn from their first hand experience. There are lot of lawyers in india who search for such videos but are greatly disappointed because people talk about only IT, Health care and management professions!

Thanks Guys, your video was amazing and every thing what you have menrioned is autuentic as well. However let me highlight a few points which you have not mentiined. 1. The waiting period for Invitation after ITA and submitting all the docs are 17 months. 2. You have to pay visa fees and medical done even before the residence visa. That means a big amount approx 3K NZ $ at risk. 3. NZ provides you with residence visa for 2 yrs initially thats has slightly less value compared to PR. 4. If you are just reaching 160 point cut-off exact 160 score then you need to have your skills under long term skills shortage list. Or else even if you meet cut-off you may not get thru. ( just look for every month invitation round, only a few candidates which are without job offer can get thru. The invitatuon round has complete breakup of with and without job offer and onshore and offshore candidates, if your are above 160 points say 165 or 170 then good enough) All remaining information is good and practical..... Appreciate your video. I am saying this based on my personal case awaited for visa.

Heyy great overview of the comparison kudos to you guys. New Zealand immigration comes across as achievable in terms of guidelines mentioned but it's quite vague and the skilled list issued for Canada is much more extensive than New Zealand. In some cases applicants have been waiting for more than over 2 years even though their score and skill level was well within the range. Nonetheless, I hope it works out for everyone who wishes to move in either of the countries. It should've been a free world just how Beatles imagined it to be. Also I'll be moving to canada from new Zealand soon hope to see you guys somewhere somehow turns out it's a small world, much love cheers ✨🌻 🙂

Hi guys I live in Christchurch South Island and you’ve made a good video but an immigrant especially from a third world country like India cannot enter Nz directly on PR. You have to take the student visa route and not like express entry. It’s really tough these days and you should consider yourself lucky enough to get a Canadian PR. And 160 points is a cut off which never changes and it’s always 160 to qualify for PR. I have been staying here for 5 years so I would suggest if someone doesn’t have a specific skill, don’t bother to come here and waste your money on studies because it’s almost impossible to get an offshore job offer

Hi Guys, Thanks for the video. You pretty simplified the whole NZ Immigration process. Currently, I am in NZ for the last 6 years and I thought I will share my experience and how this system actually works. And some actual facts vs what's mentioned on the website. 1. We can't compare the EE procedure of Canada with NZ. With 460+ or 470( based on the current scenario in Canada), you can apply directly apply for PR which eventually takes 6- 8 months, and the best part you don't have to in Canda to apply for EE. Whereas with NZ, with 160 Point you will just qualify for Residency Application( no guarantee the immigration with giving you residency) and you need to present in NZ( with a valid work Visa) to file your application and with the current scenario, it is taking around 16- 18 months to process your residency application. 2. You get points only for Skilled experience based on ANZSCO in NZ. Some NOC codes could be considered as Skilled in Canada but It could be different in NZ. 3. The only good thing is the Skill Shortage category gives you a boost in points( like 15 points extra) but Along with that, your salary bracket is most important point. If you are a short skilled employee and you are not getting enough salary bracket, you won won't consider as a short skilled employee. 4. Currently, the salary is most important factor to qualify for a Work Visa or Residency but either case you have to be present in NZ. Like LMIA in Canada, NZ has WINZ which needs approval to the employee any immigrant. 5. Above all, you can't apply for any visa except Student Visa from Outside NZ until your skill is massive short demand in NZ and some employer is happy to support you. Which is pretty similar to LMIA in Canada. * Please don't take me wrong, I have no intention to discourage anyone who's planning to migrate to NZ. NZ is a beautiful country with amazing work and life culture. But the process won't be easy to climb the residency ladder, especially after COVID.

Guys great video .. Few points . You missed the big points australia accept PTE . With tricks and techniques is easy to soccer 9 in PTE which is impossible in IELTS . My self 2 time IELTS nothing went above 7 . In PTE just in 1st try I got 9 in 3 module . In my example I can't even cross CRS of 300 but got full eligibility and pr from australia , not having graduation no chance in CA but in Australian immigration system I got my work experience skills assessment and they rewarded me with certificate 4 in commercial cookery and got 10 point for that in noraml case 15 point for graduate certificate. So this is just not available in CA process . Rest things like weekend penalty rate Saturday 1.5 time and Sunday 2 time's the base rate are things that Canada do not have . If you can get clb 10 and 9 in IELTS just try PTE Tomorrow you bot will get 90+ each out of marks in PTE . (I have completed my australian pr process and case officer is alloted for aus in Jan so waiting for grants . And on other side I have got lmia from sasktoon fast food restaurants medical and fingers done waiting for passport request as have done both countries process I can tell you non graduate trade people have bigger chances of pr and money making in aus than Canada ) Good work ..

This video was made a year ago roughly July 2020 and at the time the EOI was suspended which means now it has been more or less 16 months at least Canada was taking offshore up until December 2020 and still giving residency to onshore people. The chances to get Canadian Residency is way higher (people need to keep improving scores in some cases). It takes approximately 20 months here in NZ to get a case officer and then few months for processing (the wait was nearly same pre covid too). I am in NZ and I would like to tell you that it is not as easy as you have just explained in your video. They suspended both offshore and onshore invites. Not only that, the government wants NZ to be self reliant and reset immigration meaning more problems for migrants currently in NZ and in consequence there have been several protests by migrants and locals. It is a big mess. Now, they’re extending some visas because there is an acute shortage of workers but still no solid pathway to residency. I know it’s hard to see the situation from outside but NZ is not a good idea for now.
