I just won the game with blood gems that were + 3/131. 2xGolden Murkeye, golden brann, golden drakkari, 1 golden & 1normal jazzer & golden smuggler. My minions had over 20k health and 500 attack 😄
Not arguing but with the Charlie and battlecry thing he gained 12 attack on his minions ( (2*6)= 12 attack per turn for 2 turns, the tree would have had to been hit 25 times without any other minion dying to have more attack
@@nathandotson6350 I try to do the math on things like that when I watch him to get a better understanding in the game. My biggest weakness right now is figuring out when to level to 4 and 5. Keep feeling very ahead and then suddenly behind all in one turn
@@jakemoore5064Where has the 25 come from? Tree getting hit 25 times is +50 attack everywhere which is more than gems would give in your example. Plus, with the tree, you can still run the blood gem stuff, tree takes the slot of piper so you are still getting +6 attack baseline from the gems regardless. I'm not sure tree is the right play because of Leeroy and bramble, but in hindsight it would've been extremely good to run on the turn vs the undead board if Dog used every gem on it
Not great, only useful if you happen to have a shelly already and buff a minion in the tavern that you want anyway (like a magnetic for your cleave) or something. You can't transfer the stats, getting gems in hand is pretty hard (basically only Bongo and the Gem hero do it consistently) and if you are using a gem in hand strategy you should just be running Roogug.
@@TheMirksta I was thinking it could be a "Voljin at home" strategy, but I guess it just takes too many components to realistically happen or be better than a normal setup
doubling your attack on every gem is 100% the play, even if it's +1 lol. It's like goldening your brann or drakari for your attack. I'd keep it at least until +3 or +4.
In turn 6 he said he had no information to go on but the dude literally had a triple that you can see from the information screen. So there’s that to go on but whatever I guess.
i don't understand why you would want to spoil your fight every time with the deck tracker... like isn't it more entertaining if you don't know the outcome?
@@nocgenius5255 he's a streamer..... he's also watching the fight regardless so there is literally no advantage to checking tracker before the end of the fight
@@Maxmx7 Gives him information about the fight before it ends. He can then come up with a play sooner based off the information quicker. Something you'll notice Dog say a lot for example is, "if I win this fight I'll level". By checking the fight result mid-fight, he can figure out if that's the play or not
@@oireal7261 a bit of a reach but sure, maybe a slight advantage. but does that outweigh the negative impact that has on his stream (and livelihood)? Not so sure
@@Maxmx7 It's really not that big a deal that it would affect his livelihood. Dog lives comfortably enough that he can gift subscriptions out to his community and live in Las Vegas
