You didn't consider that the 8th winner migth be the guy replacing Checo for the last few races of the season. I feel like this scenario is more likely than one of the other teams scoring a win 😆
Well what does make you think that the potential new driver won't struggle just like Checo? And when even Max finds it hard to win, how can any other driver in Red Bull even think about winning a race lol? I think that most likely these seven race winners we have now will stay until the end of the season unless something paranormal happen.
FYI, if anyone else expected a video interview with Gasly and Ocon like me, it turns out it was an exclusive Amazon Music interview. I kept thinking they would post the interviews during the summer break, but now that it's over, I searched online and found the interviews there. I either missed the announcement that the interviews were only on Amazon Music or there wasn't one.
6:40 as a Lando fan you can counter that statement/prediction 2 ways. Max running Lando off the road lost him the championship. Lando messing up multiple race starts cost him the championship. It’s not only the teams fault realistically. And Lando knows that
Imo, Norris wouldn’t be in that battle. As I think he’s reached his ceiling. As I think he might be like Bottas. Very good in a midfield car, but average in a great car. Imo, if Ferrari don’t step up. It’ll either be Max Vs Oscar, Oscar Vs George or Max Vs George Vs Oscar.
@@gameofender4463 please go look at the data. Norris is definitely ahead of Oscar on race pace. Oscar is still a tenth of 2 per lap behind. Can he make that up? Yup, probably will. But you're just being ignorant now.
@@glaedr3396 There's no way Lando will finish the season with just one win. Especially after he said how easy it is to win races with the best car when Hamilton was doing it.
I think you missed the scenario where Danny Ric replaces Perez and becomes the 8th winner of the season. Still agree unlikely they drop Perez in the next 10 races, but that feels like the best chance of 8 winners no Perez.
He doesn't remember how to race smarty. all he knows is bring home the winners trophy or bring back the steering wheel. It's a tried and true experience that has happened time and time again, for those who take forever for their first, or have a super long gap between. Only the absolute best can avoid falling down that rabbit hole of win at all costs. He's not mature enough, nor is he experienced enough to race the way he has been racing, and if Zak and Andreas can't park that mentality, Oscar will take P2. I think Lando will come back from the summer break and stay right in line with how his first half ended. tantrums and it's all about me, and more awkward radio. He can't race Max, we've seen this. Big McLaren fan since the Senna days. I'm so happy to see the team doing so well. I just wish that half of our driver lineup would grow up and race like he knows he can.
I think you’re both underestimating Piastri. He’s only getting better and without McLaren messing up strategy he would have won Silverstone as well. He was millimetres away from winning at Austria (if he qualified higher I believe he would have won). He was also one lap away from winning in Belgium. If things had been slightly different he would’ve won the last four races. Some of that was down to same errors on Piastris part, but he won’t make the same mistakes twice.
Lando winning was also Miami where Piastri got screwed by the safety car and then killed by Carlos. Piastri has had bad luck this year, but his temperament shows he will win plenty more races
This is such a key point, Oscar is the sort of driver I can't see making the same mistakes twice. He's learning SO fast and improving massively race upon race. Lando's mistakes are largely repetitive (very much centred about his bad starts), and haven't shown the same signs of improvement.
Not so bold, I think one reason RB hasn't sacked him by summer break is just to have him driving his home race, and no, it's not for the wholesome feel, but money
The audacity of tommo to say that in 2021 it was either a merc or max winning is crazy. It was either Lewis or max. Or merc and Red Bull. Perez and bottas both won a race. Why is he saying it like max is carrying the team a merc were just dominant.
Well most fans say that. "Max won against a dominant mercedes" like Lewis isn't a good driver. Lewis made a lot of mistakes, but just when people thought merc and Lewis will fall they went on a rampage and closed the gap. It was only the last few races they had an edge over rb. Rest it was RB that was more dominant
I am the biggest Oscar fan in the world (I’m from Melbourne), but I think as much as I dislike him, Lando has become underrated. I hope I’m proven wrong, but I think it’ll be next year when Oscar is actually the more complete driver. Then again, seeing Oscar finish P2 in the WDC would be unreal
Tbf it is kinda bold. Oscar has shown amazing improvment, but Lando is still the faster driver, and fan of Oscar or not, i believe Lando will hold on to 2nd
@@tomleigh341 It's not that Lando has become underrated, if anything its kinda the opposite since people have talked about him being at the level of Verstappen. It's just that people see now how good Oscar is, people still see how good Lando is, alot of people just recognize that Oscar can actually be at that level and even above it
All the Checo predictions all depend on his form and how the car will be like especially with the rumor of putting old parts from earlier races being put on the RB20 to make it “easier” to handle for him. Would like for him to win Baku, Singapore, or Mexico for a home race and if his form improves and goes good in these final races, his contract is safe. If he stays the same, then he gets the boot in bring in either Yuki or Daniel to RBR and then Lawson can join RB.
Hamilton he and merc know how to get it done consistently none of the other drivers there do and Lewis is already ahead 11:13oh damn they said exactly what I said😊
Great idea for a video! Could you go back and gather cornering speed data from previous races, maybe even from past seasons, and compare it up to the Miami GP and beyond? It would be fascinating to see how Red Bull stacks up against other top teams, especially since there’s no doubting they’ve lost half a second since Miami. This would make for an incredible video and give viewers tangible evidence of the system they’ve allegedly been using illegally.
Considering Piastri has been constantly knocking at the door of a win or 2nd place since Miami, and has only fallen just short due to either bad luck, the team screwing him over with bad strategy or prioritizing Norris, or just a very slight mistake on his part, I'd say it isn't that far fetched for him to get another win or at least consistent podiums. The main problem now is Mercedes is almost just as fast, aren't making the same blunders and their drivers don't fold under pressure like Norris.
So sad I'm not going to make it to the Austin show, I was so excited when I heard, but I'm now in the middle of moving and there is just no way to afford it 😭
I dont spite piastri for norris nor norris for piastri, personally very happy we have a such capable roster and a car that seems to work for both after many seasons of swallowing pride
Lando was overly excited about his opportunity to pounce on Max so the summer break should bring him back to his old ways of just doing well with what he has to challenge the field. I think Oscar quickly approaching also unnerved him since he's been waiting years to get to this point and his teammate is already able to get up to P1.
Piastri seems to have such a calm head compared to lando who seems to be like a sulking child when things don't go his way, lando has the raw speed but piastri looks strongly mentally and sometimes that can be more important. I'd put Charles in that group as well amazing speed but just seems all over the shop emotionaly when things don't go well.
i think either mercedes or mclaren or ferrari will not win any more race i think they will be looking to fully attack next year and will probably not upgrade their cars i hope its ferrari i want to see how hamilton performs in a winning ferrari right from the get go
Three plus years and not one post race inspection on a RB Car? Looks like the FIA needs to mandate a PRI on at least the teams who achieve the podium...😮
so no more brake magic around the paddock. It won't have as much of an effect as you think it will. I love how RBR is so in your head that you went there first, when literally EVERYONE uses a system like that. It may make them better, and the ones catching RBR worse.
Might be called an Hamilton fanboy for this, but considering his form. My bold prediction is not driver will score more points than Hamilton for the rest of the season.
Austria WAS a big moment where Lando scored nothing. But how many times this season has Oscar copped the rough end of McLaren's stuff-ups? It's been more than Lando quite frankly.
My bold prediction - if Lando wants to win a championship, this is the only year to do it, when Oscar is still a relative rookie. Oscar’s going to make him look very ordinary, from the next season onwards.
