11:00 pm in North Carolina Mountains. Love your back story and looking forward to your progress and plans for a beautiful future while learning more of your back story. Congrats on your homesteading direction and hopes for the best for you and your family.
I have been sub'd to "Silent Watcher" channel here and he posts a LOT of Bulgaria beauties. Congrats on your purchase! - looks quite lovely and I hope your work will serve up a bunch of wondrous stuff! Cheers from Florida!!! - Laura
Great content mate it’s so much harder to do work when u have so much stuff and kids etc etc great place, you have plenty of great content coming I can tell
Hello nice IF you dont have any problems with neighbors around one's property, as I told you when I stopped by the other day, I'm not one of those who want it, thanks for letting me in for a little chat and yes, I'm him from Denmark, who lives in Karavelovo 😁
Thanks maureen :) to be honest the initial reasons were that the houses and land were so affordable for us, also The climate. Bulgaria is very much a 4 seasons country and here in the south we have a long growing season, however there is still lots of green around even though temps can get to 40°c. Winters are cold and snowy typically but a shorter winter in our region which is why we picked it :)
How easy was it to make the purchase, and how secure are you that the property is actually yours? In Spain, for example, buying property is a NIGHTMARE and you can actually end up buying property other people have a claim on, and then end up not owning it. But not getting money back, either.
Never heard of this here, it was all done very quickly but then it was less complicated back then. Buying property now is still quite straight forward you just need to do it through your own company now which is very easy to set up.
The law in Bulgaria says that foreigners can not own land only a house/apartment but not the land they are on. So Im thinking that people create a Bulgarian company that owns the land ? to get out of that loophole? (super place you have with a super view..dont know if you would be able to get a place like this in todays market? (I will be visiting Bulgaria this year to take a look around)..would you suggest any agent website to help view places?
Hi Robert, yes creating a company is a must now For non eu citizens but this is very easy to do. You can still snap up some great properties at affordable prices! Have a look at alternative living in Bulgaria on here they sell properties near our region. Wish there had been more people like them When we were looking, we were lucky to find our agent through eBay. I will have a look for his email he is a good honest agent.
Foreigners can own land, but requires certificate for EU citizen / lichnacarta and yea now England not are members of EU anymore, then you need to set up a company.
As i said, it was a spontaneous video. I like to be as honest and raw as possible. Yes it was very untidy but it is no show home, not for a long time! that was kind of the point 😊
Hi which company did you buy with on ebay please and can you trust them as we have seen plenty of houses on there but do not know whether the company is legitimate or not thanks
It has changed now in that you need to set up a company to buy property with land, you can still buy an apartment in your name. The company process is really easy though my mum has just done this last year, she bought a plot of land and a black sea apartment. Will do another video of this soon :)
What a bargain your house and land. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Several years ago, Ben Fogle did a documentary on a young couple living in Bulgaria. She was from South Africa, he was from UK. There was a follow up but nothing since. I have often wondered how they are getting on. In the first programme, it all looked extremely grim! In the second they had a baby. Best wishes to you and your husband from East Yorkshire.
I have just come across these vlogs. Beautiful land with this house, the view is fabulous! I would turn the attic in to a 2 bedroom space with a three piece bathroom up there, and a balcony off each end!😅 dreamy stuff again 😂
This is a good video but I have to say, I will forever be indebted to you Gardner 😇you’ve changed my whole life I’ll continue to preach about your name for the world to hear you’ve saved me from a huge financial debt with just little investment in money market, thanks so much Ms Rose.
2020 was a rough year for me as I lost my job as a college teacher due to the pandemic. I got introduced to Ms, Gardner, I opened up about challenges I was facing here in Norway, during my time working with her, I was able generate weekly returns on my investment.
I was skeptical at first meeting someone online this days carries enough risk, there's a site she introduced me too, and I got the white paper of the work, In over a month, I was able to tripple my portfolio , she's been a mentor and friend
With the consistent weekly profits I’m getting investing with Mrs Rose Gardner there’s no doubt ...she is the most reliable in the market. such a genius!
Seeing this now, even a little bit late but - welcome in our country ,hope you like it here❤️🇧🇬What a beautiful house😍 you've done great work. Can't wait to see the whole process.🥰 Would you share in which region you find the house? With my fiancé are looking for a house but we can't choose a village
@@ourlittleeden Cool, did not know you are using a Bulgarian word for this particular kind of stove. 🙃I read in the comments that you are learning the language. For "The sun is shining." we also say "Слънцето пече". 🙂
Beautiful views. At one time of day I would have been jumping for joy at the chance to do what you are doing, but, way too long in the tooth now😆 You've definitely got your work cut out transforming your new home and land, but once done, it will be beautiful.
Wow that was some good buy, and glad you are making progress on the house..You are brave and adventurous..What is the village like and where do you buy food..I look forward to seeing more..Best Wishes😀
thanks for the comment! We love this village, it is only 4km from town, there is a small village shop which stocks quite a bit of food but mostly go to the supermarket in town for now although we hope to be more self sufficient for produce soon ✌
hi. why did you move out of the UK? I live in the UK. I am thinking about Bulgaria as well. Could I contact you on your mail please. I have got some questions I would like to know. Thanks
How did you get a good lawer to check for you all the paperwork. I heard there are a lot of houses in Bulgeria which are built without permissions. Also I heard that lawers and estate agencies do not have to check whether there are debts on properties. Basically youhave to do ityourself. So my question is - did you do that and how did you did it? Do you feel safe in a ruaral area where you are? How is it with getting permissions to renovate your house? Did you have to get any permision from the local goverment? Do you have to have permission to keep chicken? In some countries the bureaucracy is terrible. Which paert of Bulgaria are you in? Thanks. :)
@@MaxMax-qy1dsHi Max :) you do not need permission for anything once you buy a house. You can renovate and have animals no need to ask it will be your land.
