I was playing and i came across some detail i think....did you already saw that too? Are the races always the same eacht year? I mean like on season 24 you have for example a race that starts at ....and ends at..... well season 25 26 and further they still have the same starting and ending point, they don't get updated, just the big tours do Italy France and Spain, perhaps I'm wrong i don't know. Welcome back Benji. Great u start play again but u made mistake cause u want to play from start with own real name patch only. Now playing with WDB+they QoL pack its completely different game than play this vanilla. Plus in Qol 2 more difficulty options. Extreme just too easy esp in couple years with good team. Wonder if they change sprints again ot thats just because this early version of vanilla. But last version of 23 it was even hard to lead the peloton without ok flat guy, and than u compete in sprint with late 60x sprinter... may be in a dream.
hey dude. not sure if you read all those comments, but I wish I'd have your knowledge about to cycling. I'm kind of jealous since I'm new to that sport and it feels like rocket science to me, I really don't understand "how to drive / ride" those races. It kind of makes me want to give up on it and just look for another sport that might I find interesting.

Happy that you are back with carrer mode. As PCM die hard fan, I still wish game got a little more like '06 or '07 version, a bit less micro-management and more simulation. Last version I bought was '22, might give '24 a chance.

Interesting video. I have no clue about pro cycling (I don't even watch it) but I like manager games. Do you guys recommend it or should one really be into cycling?
I played pcm 2018 alot, never knew how to make a sprint train thanks alot lol :D Do you just drag the riders beneath the one u want in the start of the train?
I think that's a bug when the crash happened and everyone following stopped. I think in PCM 23 those following would get get set to maintain position during a crash
I don't know if this is possible, but a short "preview" video of PCM TdF stage a day before or on the day of the actual TdF stage would be great! Maybe announced on the podcast.
Are there any active communities for PCM? I looked at both the discord and reddit to ask a question, but neither place seems to have a lot of activity?
I can post my question here as well, in case other PCM players are looking: Any advice on building a good pro cyclist for both GC's and some classics? I assume I'd always start with stage races as a main focus for the climbing and time trial, but not sure where to go from there. I tried puncher as secondary, but this results in very low sprint stats and potential although I'm not entirely sure how impactful this is? It seems that a lot of one-day races ends up in bunched finishes even on very hilly routes with a hilly finish and I'm not sure if hills or sprint matters more in that situation.
It would be cool if you explained why you do certain things. It’s been two years. Why hold position at 85% at the start? New players could benefit from that.
From someone that knows nothing about cycling, this is highly entertaining. (Although I did see the Tour De France once in a little village called Olonzac France back in 2011)

I started playing PCM a year or two ago, but had been watching LRCP for longer. At one point I was looking up how to edit stuff in a database editor and jumped a bit when your voice came on in a video!
Just the other day, I was thinking about messaging you about PCM. I was wondering if you play it without uploading due to the time intensive process of creating a video. I am really happy to see that you returned to the game. Your passion for the game is evident, and I thoroughly enjoy watching.
Just found this series, great stuff can't wait to watch it all. I realize it's just a game programming thing but imagine the hilarity of the rider following stopping during a crash in real life. "What are you on about coach, you said to follow him so I did!" lmfao
keen to hear an honest game review... for so many years the Devs have done so little. Watching the video I'm not sure the Dev's have touched any of the racing elements....
Massive difference, it's basically Football Manager compared to FIFA. PCM is a management game where you plan and work through a season with a team. TDF is more of a "I play as riders in a race" kinda thing.
I'm excited to see this series return. We all need a break from time to time. Love that you choose Rembe for team selection! Can't wait to see more of this! Ride on!
