Just a look at our cloth diaper stash & storage. Any questions, just let us know! Thanks for watching! :) Cloth Wipes purchased from - justonedesigns www.etsy.com/s...
This is ADORABLE. My fiance wants to give your hubby a big high five. He's well learned in cloth diapers as well and we don't even have our little one yet!
That's good! We did the same thing when I was pregnant! It makes it a lot easier if he wants to be a part of it. I always giggle when he tells me there is a new diaper he wants to try. Good luck!
We like our Alva's. We use them quite a bit. Out of all of our diapers the only one I've noticed not holding up so well is our Sunbaby diapers. A few of the snaps are starting to pull and fabric is fraying from the side. (that's even with us air drying them) Absorbency is up to what inserts you use. We use an alva bamboo with a micro on tob. We always double stuff. We haven't had any leaks. We purchased them from hyena cart. Just type in Alva at the top and all of the alva diapers will come up.
Man that's a toughie. We go in spurts of what is our favorite at the time. With that said, right now my favorite is rumparooz. The double gusset is nice and they fit her really well. Hubby and I were talking about doing a video of our favorites and showing off the material and such. I'll could tag you in it if you'd like. :)
We purchased a pack from Real Nappies that had covers & prefolds before Zoe was born. After she was born we realized we wanted to try different types and styles. So we started adding them over the next few months. Sometimes they were small purchases and sometimes they were large. It depended a lot on what was on sale and if they gave free shipping and/or a free diaper with purchase. We did some mystery packages which gave a lot for a little amount.
great video! luv that hubby is a cloth diaper pro :) just wondering, how do you feel your Alva's hold up compared to your more expensive diapers? how is the absorbency? and lastly wear can I buy those cut custom Alva's sorry for so many ?'s
I have a few questions. First, which cover/prefolds did you use when she was a newborn? Are the baby wizards pocket diapers? I went to their website and it is hard to tell which styles are which, other than having different closure styles. I am really considering bum genius freetimes. Do you still like them? And what are the best site for finding deals. Thanks for sharing, this video is great!
Part II - As for the BG Freetimes - we like them as a diaper and I think they work great BUT we have a heavy wetter and most AIO's don't work well for her. I can really only keep her in an AIO for an hour at max. Some places to find great deals are Kelly's Closet, Kissed by the Moon, and Amazon. Kelly's Closet & Kissed by the Moon always have free diaper codes when you order something. They aren't stingy with the free diaper as well. Amazon warehouse deals is a good place to look as well.
Sorry this reply took so long. Personally I believe it depends on your baby. We used prefolds with covers for the first few weeks because the pockets we did have didn't fit her. Most of our stash we purchased after she was here. The lil joeys are really small and I believe would have worked better. It helped us when we were in a pinch but for the next baby I am going to use newborn pockets or aio's. Zoe was 7lbs 15 oz when she was born and still had a hard time fitting in OS pockets.
They are lil joey's from Kanga Care. We ordered them from a couple different websites that were running deals. Kelly's Closet has some and a few other sites.
Part I - Hi there, thanks for the questions! We used Real Nappies prefolds & covers when she was a newborn. They worked for the time but if I were to do it again, I would chose differently. Baby Wizards are pockets. We found them on Hyena Cart from a seller. They are hard to find, but the prints are adorable.
Hey FLGreenFamily, how do you find the Baby Wizards diapers compare to others? Because they have absolutely ADORABLE prints, and I was wondering if you'd recommend them over other brands?
Baby Wizards have held up quite well to the test. They are made well and the like you said the prints are just adorable! As far as recommending them goes, I would recommend them. I'm not loyal to one brand as I kind of find the good in all brands but with Baby Wizard, the only bad thing I have to say about them is they are hard to find. We had to hunt them down. I don't think you can go wrong there. :)
We ordered most of our Alvas from Hyena Cart. We like them - my husband more than I. They have held up well and are a great purchase for the price. Sorry this has taken so long for me to get to reply. I'm working on replying sooner.
Great video! If you like to watch diapering videos, I just made my first ones. They are called "Cloth Diaper Favorites Tag 2016," "Crazy Cloth Diaper Lady Tag 2016" and "Cloth Diaper Stash Fun 2015." I love seeing everyone's fluff!
