Love Danny “doing” the dishes in the background. It was something that kept my own son occupied for hours as a little one. All good clean fun. Happy days Lisa.
I have finally got my sourdough starter done. we had pancakes this morning. And I am going to make bread later. It’s nice to make new recipes. Have a Blessed Day
This channel proves you can have an amazing channel without having your kids throughout the whole video some of these channels are showing and exposing there children way to much and this is just so refreshing they are in some clips but very short and your not "using" them for content. You have a beautiful channel.
I also appreciate that your home isn't silent when you're filming. Your family is allowed to carry on in the background while you're making this great content.
Can you do an updated video about your sourdough starter? Your videography has greatly improved since your old one and I’m interested in any updates you have. Also, I was wondering how you maintain such a large starter that you use so regularly and how much flour a week goes into it. Thanks! Love your content!
Good morning, I always love you videos. I'm always amazed at all you cook and the love that's put in there for your family. Have a wonderful weekend!! ❤
You have a wee helper at the sink! Are einkorn products particularly costly and hard to find, as so many things are that someone has told us are healthy? So, in pancake form it cooks a bit like a Dutch baby or a Yorkshire pudding does? It looks delicious. Your elder daughter seems quite competent at helping with the coffee cake. It looks so sweet and warm. Made me hungry.
As always so lovely and full of great ideas and inspiration! I think I'm going to let my daughter play in the sink a bit to get a few extra minutes of work done. Great idea. Would love to see some content on how you manage to keep yourself energized and don't get run down through out the day. Do you have any particular self care habits? Do you have coffee all day? Share your secrets!
Everything looks delicious! Just wondering how long after waking up do you guys usually have breakfast? My kids tend to wake up at 6am starving so I usually just get them dressed and fix them sth quick right away ;)
I love your videos. You simplify meals beautifully. One suggestion..... put a folded towel under your small cutting board. It moves too much and looks unsafe. Sorry I’m a mom
I have the Einkorn cookbook you linked but I could not find the recipe in the book. Can you pls provide a page #? I searched through all breakfast recipes, checked the index for Dutch Baby pancakes, pancakes, German pancakes & puff pancakes and nothing.
I watch your videos. I have a large family & cook for them. Although I am vegan, I cook both, for my family. All to say, check this tortilla hack out on You Tube, Lauren Toyota's Tik Tok Wrap Hack. (I make both vegan & regular fyi). It makes Quesadilla's so easy. With a big family I make up a large amount & put in oven.
I loved it and it was so natural that's what goes on in homes. It put the biggest smile on my face brought back the day when my children were like that and now when my grandchildren and other children come over the sink they always love to play in the water. Have never tried this kind of flour I am going to be checking into doing it always loved everything about this channel
My five year old daughter and I created a starter together as a science study. We watched your videos and read your blogs..it did so well, I told her we needed to name it. She named it Lisa 😁 We're going to bake with it this weekend!
This is literally my dream! To be able to cook like this. I find it so intimidating. You are so inspiring, thank you for taking the time to make these videos!
Hello fellow Dutch baby lover, whenever I make a Dutch baby it comes out like a flan or quiche , what an I doing wrong, it won’t rise either! So upset!
@@shabnamsultana1920 I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having trouble! My wonderful husband makes the Dutch babies around here 😅 but this is the recipe we’ve had with good success: everydayfull.com/sourdough-dutch-pancake/ Hope you have better luck! 💛
Your knives reminded me☺️I just bought some Old, Big knives at Habitat . They came from an Estate Sale. My grandpa had a drawer full of Old Knives. Anyhoo, I bought them, and I am going to put one in each of my sister’s Thrifted, Birthday Gifts🤍 My girls make cornbread and eat it for breakfast too💛 they just add butter to theirs💛 Relaxing Vlog as usual, Lisa 🤍
I so enjoyed this video. You whip food up and it allways looks so delicious. You have such a beautiful place Lisa, I thoroughly enjoy these cozy....... I watch them 2 to 3 times. You are a wonderful example of being a "can do it " type of woman. Your so inspiring.
I have been Danish Dough whisk curious for a long time but don't like to fill my kitchen with single-use items. Seeing you use yours for so many different uses, I'm going to finally commit. Also, been loving your sourdough ebook recipes, rave reviews all around.
I tried einkorn flour for the first time and I love it! I used your recipe for pie crust and made quiche! Will definitely use again! Love this video...I want to try the puff pancake with the einkorn flour!
Since I’ve started making sourdough bread (your artisan recipe is so easy and so awesome!) I’ve realized I really need a new bread knife. Do you love yours? And if so, can you name it? Thanks ❤️
Love the videos, but the babies sitting on countertops, standing on chairs by the sink...and teatowels so close to the gas flames are giving me anxiety! Lol!

I love this video so much! I use your bagel recipe and I cannot get my bagels to firm up. They’re soooo sticky and I’ve made them three times. Any tips?

Could you please give me a page number or recipe for the puff pancake? I own the Einkorn cookbook you linked from Jovial Foods and have searched through it and only can find two regular pancake recipes... love the idea for breakfast. Thanks so much! So inspired by your vlog :-)
Hello Lisa, your kiddos may like the Croatian dish 'knedle'. I am of Croatian heritage and I would make them for my family. They can be eaten for breakfast or dessert, warm or cold. There are recipes on the Web. Basically, knedle is a dish of boiled potato-dough dumplings filled with plums or apricots (I have also made them with other stone fruits). The dumplings are boiled in water and when they start floating, taken out. They are then rolled in a mixture of breadcrumbs, sugar and cinnamon and gently/lightly pan fried in butter. Uncooked knedle also freeze well. A dish that you may like to try.
Cast Iron - what brand should I look for?? And Lisa - love your channel. How do you keep up with your dishes with all the food from scratch/big family? It is always my downfall.
Serious question 😊 I am a mom of 2 boys and cooking for the 3 of us and working a full time job is exhausting. Do you ever just say screw it and put a frozen pizza in the oven? Or use can biscuits? I strive to be more like you every single day but some days the last thing I want to do is cook, let alone make everything from scratch. How are you not exhausted? You have like 4 more kids than I do too😔
I am Dutch but I was really wondering what a Dutch baby pancake would be 😄 but I think I recognized it. I think we call this a ‘poffert’ and actually make these really teeny tiny and call them ‘poffertjes’. And we eat them with butter and powdered sugar 😋
Daniel playing in the water reminds me of my five children....myself I’d put the chair back to the sink incase he falls less bruising...but that’s just a suggestion. I’d often set up the tub with warm water bubbles and toys in the evening....as the young ones played I’d sit and read or do some hand stitching...for comfort I’d put a chair in next to them but if you don’t have room a chair pad turns the commode into a soft seat. I loved Maria Montessori techniques.... water play with different sized bottles...old kitchen utensils and bowls in a square tote with plastic underneath.....plastic jars with different lids to screw on and off....I’d save bottle tops and they loved to pour from one container to the other..or close the lid and make shakers....boppers made from swimming pool noodles, especially the boys played war outside with those....and most of all houses or forts made from cardboard boxes were a favorite......nice to see your children included in meal prep...great example.
Hi. I’m really enjoying your videos as we try to move to a slower paced, more homemade, organic lifestyle. I was wondering if you grew up the way you cook or is it something you learned as an adult? Thanks!
The only thing I don’t understand is how do you eat like this almost daily and not be overweight? I love to cook this comfort type of food but if I do then I gain weight and have so much bloat and my kids start to gain weight. And I use good organic ingredients as well and cook from scratch. I don’t understand how you accomplish this kind of lifestyle without carrying the “weight” from it 😫
Little late here, but what kind of cheese did you top the eggs with for the steak and eggs? I'm making this tonight and didn't realize there was cheese on top my first watch through!
