As a kid, I had daily sleep paralysis about swiper the fox (the character from dora) breaking into the house that I lived in and threatening to kill my mum and sister before he would either cause a tornado to hit our house, or gut me. Weird to explain, but yeah, least favourite puppy.

One of my worst dreams was where a bunch of “banana zombies” were attacking a McDonald’s play place at night, all of my family was dead, and my friends were the cucumber and the tomato from veggie tales. They eventually died and the dream ended as the banana zombies closed in on me while I was in the ball pit, defying the laws of physics as they phase through the ball pit walls and balls.

How Charlie described his childhood is extremely similar to mine, I have a couple memories from 7-9 years old but anything before that is just... gone. I get extremely disjointed dreams too, one was of a random dude and a penguin in the arctic looking for a necklace(?) and the water in front of them started freezing over and then I woke up. Growing up was a trip lmao. Edit: The lucid dreaming Charlie talks about is also familiar. It’s happened a few times where I am able to influence my dreams, but only if it’s a calm one.

I had a dream where I was in school, and I realized I was dreaming because I checked the time on my phone and it was nonsense, and I told my friend that this was my dream and he said "really?" and then he stabbed through my hand with a pencil and said "oh wow you are in a dream you didn't even flinch" and that really was a bruh moment.

Like 10% of my dreams as a kid consisted of me feeling forced to drive my Dad's car because I couldn't find him at the store and then really shittily driving across the street about five times during five separate eternities until I finally found him and he reacted like my actual Dad and not what my six year old brain thought of how my Dad would react.

I used to always have dreams where my teeth is clenched closed so tightly that it started to fallout and crack and it freaked me the fuck out so I used my tongue and fingers to inch into the crevices of the teeth and unclench them which worked a lot of the times but the most frequent ones did not work. Like last year in one of my dreams during the summer, I had my clenched teeth dream and when I tried using my fingers to unclench my mouth, it kept trying to chomp down so I stuck my entire hand between the top and bottom teeth which was a big mistake because the teeth started to dig through the skin. Then I just started to hear cracking sounds and it was the bones of my hands being crushed by my teeth. After that, I woke up terrified at 3 in the morning inspecting my hands and teeth in the bathroom mirror.

35:21 when I was little I had a stuffed dog named Puppy, and he didn't have stuffing in his chest because I hugged him too much. I had him until I was about 17, gave him to a friend who needed the rest of the love that Puppy had, because he had so much.

I had a real dog when I was young named "Little girl" or "lil' girl" because we could not think of a name the first day of getting her and just called her that as a one-off thing as a way to refer to her and it just stuck as the days of not coming up with a name went on. Funny thing is that she was very much not little after the first year, she was a Rottweiler German Shepherd mix and got pretty big, lived until 2017~ at the ripe age of 14 still known as Little Girl
