Just my opinion but if I was looking I would buy that land. It will be a good investment. You never know what the neighbors will build when opening up a new area, that is a chance one has to take. I am your dads age and that is not old. You youngsters are still of an age that thinks everyone over 60 is old. One day (too soon) you will learn. Another very good video Valeria. Thanks! 😂
I think Alex is very right. Especially now. More land will become available. I guess Alexs father has a dream to buy his own land and build a dacha. It's just bad timing and that piece of land with those power lines could come down first big rain or snow storm. Wouldn't like living near gas tanks. Good luck. You are wonderful people.
Valeria, no matter where you live, there are alot of considerations, the plot of land is so important. The second property is too close to the power lines, youre correct about restrictions. The Electro magnetic radiation that your dsd would be subject to by being too close is another important factor. I bought a new house in 1999, the fifth in the development, civilization was right behind us. Regards to electricity, enough land purchases to build nrw dachas would probably speed up the electricity to the community, and one day you would see the trucks installing the lines. Good luck to your dad. Please stay safe and healthy.
There is clearly a violation of norms and rules, high-voltage lines of electric transmission can not pass over residential buildings, I do not remember exactly like a security zone of 50 meters on each side of the high-voltage line(better than 100m), there is clearly either a bribe was given or built without permission. From strong electromagnetic radiation and electric field strength from a 6-10 kilovolt line, such diseases as brain cancer and leukemia can develop when a person is under a high-voltage power line for a long time.
I agree with Alex. The first property the roads are bad . Also the lake looked lovely but with ticks about it is unsafe for Sheffield . I’m sure more property will come available in the coming months. Enjoyed watching. Thank you for sharing. Big hugs to you all and Sheffield.❤️
I loved the music you chose when showing where you got the "ticks". It made me chuckle. Anyway I am glad you and Alex got out for a little while and happy you are staying safe. Thanks for sharing.
Now there is a great demand for the purchase and rental of summer cottages (dachas) as summer is ahead, and the borders are closed, many people will have summer vacations in the country
Yes electric and gas is good. 15 years is a long time for someone 70 years old. Yes I am relatively the same age. I agree with your and Alex’s conclusion. Good luck you two. John
I must agree with Alex, the property is depressing. No trees, just barren land. It would be "no" from me as well. It just isn't a pretty place. Surely your dad will find some place much nicer. I live in the southwest region of Georgia in USA, and we have tick problems too, mostly in the warmer months. It is best to wear long pants tucked into boots and long sleeve shirt whenever venturing into the woods/forest. And also to use insect repellent. Good luck to dad, I hope he can find a nice place for his dacha. xx
I hope you Val and Alex are doing well, it is a very nice day in England today 8 5 2020 it is getting a lot better. I can even buy lemons cheap from the shops. It is interesting to see how big your supermarkets are in Russia I don't think we have supermarkets that big. Look after your selves all the best M
Fantastic video val.. Ya i know all to well about Neighbors. I now live outside the city full time. Now with the Virus. The Dacha is probably a safer place to be for sure
The trail along the river's edge, the trees when they leave will be a feature, the property is high, and dry, is there good fishing, is Lyme's disease a problem, I liked the area, reminds me of northern Ontario.
Old asphalt roads (that were once new) are removed and the old asphalt is crushed than mixed with gravel, than used once again on driveways. The crushed asphalt mix holds up stronger than plain gravel. That land is not bad because of the gas utility being close.
Love the video I'm glad you're dad bought a dacha is Alex Alive ? I hope so read a comment hope you two are ok ? Love u both take care stay safe Stay healthy 💝🙏💝
Alex and Valeria I think you were quite right in giving the site for dads new house the thumbs down, it was a bit isolated and the access to it was well not good and it was a bit expensive for a small piece of land with no services attached. I thought that was quite brave of you to go to place where Sheffy was mugged by those unruly pigs! Stay safe and well Baja x.
Spaceeba Valeria. Nice job on the video. Isn't there a mobile home industry in Russia these days? They are much cheaper to buy because they are mass produced on an assembly line and most of them are very nice. I think that's the route I would take if I were considering a dacha on an empty lot. You guys take care and be safe.
wow! the land is very expensive compared to where i am in the U.S. i spent 1/2 that amount on land that is 20719.9 sq meters. i too have ticks but the guinea fowl have all but eliminated them
Land here is sold by the acre except in cities where a lot is sold instead and the prices varies, but the land isn't cheap. In the rural areas you have more rights on your land and you do have mineral rights unless otherwise stated in the sales agreement.
This second dacha lot looked fairly nice and you get a sense of how at least one neighbor is (the one selling half). However if they are older and sell or pass on their dacha, then "hellions" maybe will move in 🤔. Everywhere you go in the World this can be a problem unless you can live in a remote area. Спасибо за видео 🙂.
A good time in history to own a nice Dacha....escape the madness of the city. Maybe he has a specialty! Create a youtube channel and share it for some $ :) Best wishes all! Trees. Good! Backup fuel. I like the open area, very nice.
Thank you for taking us along! I’m curious does everywhere in Russia have a “region”? Here in America we generally have our State then the city within the state and sometimes the town within the state. Our country of course is divided into regions based on where there state is like California & Oregon are on the West Coast. Edit: Thank you everyone for all the responses. I know I could’ve looked the information up but I enjoy this way. Hope everyone is staying safe out there.
Melisa, region is very common and official word in Russia. I am from the city of Kaliningrad, it is an administrative centre of Kaliningrad region. The same is in the case of Moscow ))
Melisa, I think Valerias use of region would be more like our metropolitan area. It is a smaller area than a county. The way she uses it just means the surrounding or nearby area. Baltic Russia said that it would equal state but I don't think the way Valeria uses it. Krai would be more like state.
I agree with your husband it’s too dangerous his dad is like me he does not need much land because it’s to hard to care for here in America most older people put their whole yards in flowers and garden so you don’t have to mow I do my yard in raised bed gardens and make a lot of money off from them
Hi Valeria! I enjoy your videos very much, especially shopping and seeing Sheffield. I was just wondering if you vaccinate Sheffield for Lyme and Leptospirosis. They are prevalent where I live so all my dogs get vaccinated yearly for both. Stay safe and healthy!
Lymes disease is not fun I had it. I despise ticks and have a hard time going into the forest now. Wish there was a dacha for Dad near you that is nice.
Please be careful of ticks. They carry Lyme disease. My son and I are disabled from a tick bite. Lyme is an awful disease. Affects joints ,brain, fatigue, please watch out.
It seems it's a hard decision in this time, maybe summer will be a better time to look, don't think lockdown restrictions will last very much longer, Be well my friends and in Love👍💑😍
what i understood from your words is that if the neighbors are poor thats gonna have a negative impact in your house? thats something i didnt expect. sorry!
This is fascinating! So in Russia you CAN purchase the land? I thought no one was allowed to buy the land. I thought you were only allowed to lease the land from the government. Was it different during the Soviet Union? Also, do you have to pay a yearly property tax when you have a DACHA?
Do people ever buy a new trailer house to put on their land instead of a homemade dacha? We see a lot of areas here where people buy a trailer house which has a bathroom in it. They are long narrow 1-story pre-made homes. Small but everything you need.
Hey dear Russians, Learn from Canadians. Bring in billions of dollars every year!? simply by asphalted streets, sidewalks with trees, esplanades with restaurants, shopping streets, festivals, marathons, casinos and moving lips & arses (singers). There would be no need to sell complex things like Su, Migs or to sell commodities like oil. Make Moscow another Toronto, a money sucking casino. Make yourself rich
Imagine you live in big city and bought a plot of land with a house in a special community in your state. You go there for the weekend or for a long period, plant potatoes or flowers, or just relax. This is the dacha))
They lie to you. This is the place in the village where you work your days off after the working week. And you do not get a salary, but constantly only spend your finances on it. )))
@@Jestmystuff Because living in a thin wooden walls house without any heating and an outhouse toilet in a -20C winter is totally not fun. This problem, certainly can be addressed by building a proper winter-ready house, suitable for the permanent residence. But then it will cost like 2 city apartments to build and like 4 city apartments to maintain, particularly during the heating season, which is about 6 months a year in that part of Russia. Those, who could afford that - already did it. And now it takes them like 4 hours to commute from home to the city, enjoying incredible speed of the infamous Moscow traffic jams.
Too much work for an older person I think. I'm sad the rich people ran your dad away. He had worked for many years to make his dacha as he liked it. So sad.
