Big difference to our inner cities in South Africa. So glad both of you are enjoying all the Countries you are visiting. Most European Countries would be expensive for a South African to travel to because we have a very weak currency compared to the US dollar. Hi Gift and Joe . Thanks to share the beautiful day in wien whit us . This remember my trip to Wien . The next time you visit Austria again you have to go to Salzburg . I highly recommended the next time if you will go to Europe fly somewhere and rent a car . I visit 67 country in this world and i see so many beautiful place . Have a nice weekend and be safe .

Don’t worry about the cost , you can afford it. I would choose a holiday like this any day. The cheaper option is always to eat is alway away from the tourist area. The Videos are amazing . Never made it to Vienna but visit Salzburg and Innsbruck. For everlasting memories .👍

Hi Gift if you are Austria you don't need Starbucks because in Austria you will find every corner nice and beautiful coffee shop whit much more better coffee than Starbucks , Gift strust because I'm French and we like coffee . In visiting a new country, you are correct in that a minimum of a month's stay would do it justice and make it truly worthwhile. St Stephen's Cathedral was truly majestic; amazing! Vienna is a really romantic city too, like the horse drawn carriages. I like the openness of the plazas where one can walk without the distraction of automobile traffic and traffic signals of course. It looks easy enough to get around there. Nice relaxing park. Cool taxi or old car, whatever it was. Beautiful architecture, wow. Very tall inside. 5 Guys burger, nice. I have one down the road from our house in the US. Nice video👍👍

Hi Gift and Joe, what a beautiful city Vienna is! I have never been there, surprisingly enough as I have visited most capital cities in Europe. I would suggest that your allergy, Joe, is to tree pollen which is around in Europe in the spring. Those antihistamines should help. I love the atmosphere in Cathedrals and large churches and St. Stephen's did not disappoint. It was great to hear the organ playing, which is something that I miss here in Thailand. In UK, I was fortunate enough to sing in many of the great, historic churches and cathedrals, many dating back to the 11th and 12th centuries. In fact I was a choir director for many years in a large historic church in Suffolk built in the 13th Century. Gift is right when she says she didn't know which way to look as everything is so beautiful and well kept. I am sure that you will have a wonderful time discovering things here in Vienna. We were right there last September. I liked Vienna as much as i liked Rome. I could spend a month there. Innsbruck was a nice stop to. Use the ATMs not the exchanges. It’s not like Thailand 👍 We were lucky and caught the organist playing in the cathedral at night. It was awesome 👏

Did you go to the Saccer Hotel in Vienna? They are famous for their Chocolate SaccerTorte. Its right next to the Opera House and the St. Stephen's Cathedral. As you are walking down the street towards the Cathedral look at the sides of the buildings covered in murals.

If Gift was American and in love with "The Sound of Music", you would have to take her to Salzburg. I doubt she knows that movie so she won't make you go. That was Maura's #1 demand when it came to visiting Austria. We found the whole country lovely so there were no wrong choices.

Hi, you and Gift should visit the Thai Festival in Vienna is easy to get there just ride with the Metro U1 to the Station " Donauinsel" und there you are. Many activities orig. Thaifood and so on. Happy day.

It’s too bad just checking out Starbucks. Vienna is known for their great cafes - hope you get to experience some!
