lol I totally get it, and we didn’t finish it ourselves!! Yes they give you a box to take home the dessert items! I had Ariel’s dinglehopper cake pop for like the next 3 days, cuz it’s cute but just so darn sweet!!!
@@journeywithjinandmike I love how they are very detailed with making sure if you have any food allergies I couldn't partake in the lobster rolls because I am allergic Lobster
Pocahontas is definitely not common. At Disney World, she's often only at Animal Kingdom on one of the character boats. I hope you enjoyed this experience btw! Next time I'm at Disneyland, this might be worth a shot!
10000% in agreement!!! I was so thrilled to have met her! This one was a lot of fun but def expensive... 🤣 But given the food quality and character interactions, I still think it's worth it especially if there is a special occasion for sure! Hope you get to enjoy it soon! 😁
Character dining experiences tend to be more expensive than the other dining experiences in Disney. Is this something that is on your must-do list? If so, what is your favorite Disney character dining experience?
Yeah, we were a little surprised, too. We were expecting it to be more like Cinderella's Royal Table where the princesses came to you. Seems like that's changed like you mentioned! But, it was still fun. The food was pretty good, especially the dessert! (Yes, the fruit skewers were super cute)! 😃
Just keep in mind that if you go to this Breakfast with at least 1 Little Girl, be sure that the Girl wears a Princess Dress so that the Princesses can see the Dress.
I have noticed when I try to reserve for my daughter’s bday I only ever see reservations for 2… never for 3 or 4. Any tips on getting a reservation? I am desperate to book it for my daughter’s 5th birthday but it seems impossible to get a reservation for all of us
I hear ya! Hate to suggest something that has an extra cost, but I always use mousewatcher.com. It’s, I think, $5 for one reservation and $19 for a month subscription for reservations. It will continuously scrub for availability and once found, it sends you a text and an email. I have found that to be the most effective way for hard to get reservations. Mousedining.com has a free version where it allows you to request reservations too. They all allow you to pick the time, date, and numbers in your party. Those tend to be what I have found the most success with. Here is a quick video I made about mousewatcher.com: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-83ZRZFdJ8ao.html that may be of help.

@@joseventura7943 That is why my Disneyland dream is to slow dance with Belle, do a French tango dance with Belle and the cha cha cha 🕺 💃 🎶 🎵, have Belle speak French to me, and smother me in kisses 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋 while Belle is only wearing her blue apron dress 💙 👗.

Excellent detailed review guys. I am on the fence about taking my sister when she visits from Australia. As you’ve said it’s pretty expensive and we are both vegetarians who don’t drink and rarely eat sweets. If we go it will be just us without our kids. I appreciated that you were without kids so we could see what it’s like and it was nice to see you seemed to get equal attention to the little kids. I must say I’m very impressed with your knowledgeable banter with each Princess. They would have loved you guys. Well done 👍🏻
Thank you very much! We are so glad that you found this video to be helpful! Yes, the character meet and greet aspect of it is absolutely delightful, and because we went to the characters instead of them coming to our table like the other more typical character dining experiences, we actually felt more in control of the experience. As far as the food selections, given what you just mentioned, this may not be worth your money as it tends to be pretty animal-protein and dessert heavy. That said, I think the princesses do roam the Grand Californian for time to time, and you might even get to meet them for free. At least that was the case when we had our breakfast that morning. The princesses were just out in the hallway area in the back of hotel mingling with guests before the breakfast. Regardless, we hope you have a fantastic time in Disneyland, and that's great that you'll get to see your sister soon!
Wow! Thank you for the reply. I will still think about it. Do you happen to know if they apply the Magic Key discount? I’m local and live in Los Angeles. Thanks again.

To be fair… so the starters and desserts are good! (In my opinion), the dessert is a standout for sure. Though the Little Mermaid cake pop is…dense… The presentation is lovely though. As far as the buffet (or Chef’s Table, as Mike would correct me), I think it’s average/maybe above average?? Hope this helps!!
Hi there! Have a wonderful time!! We are so excited for you! For this one, I don’t believe there is a walk-up, so I would recommend looking for an advanced reservation. This one may be a bit more challenging to book unfortunately. But we also have a video on how to secure a reservation. Hope this helps, and have a great trip!!!!
They do accept walk-ins subject to that day's current reservations. It's better to have a reservation, however, If you choose this route it's best to arrive when the restaurant opens at 8am. This way you can check with the host for any availability. Size of the party will play a role too. Hope this helps.
@@mmartinez492 That is a really good callout! Thanks for adding this bit in about advanced reservations. Per the Disneyland website, for this particular experience: "Advance reservations are highly recommended. Guests can make advance dining reservations online or via the Disneyland app. Same-day reservations can be made on a limited basis and are subject to availability." From my experience, the same-day for this particular dining experience is pretty limited whereas Storytellers Cafe and their just regular Napa Rose dinner are slightly easier to snag as walk-ups. Either way, I would still recommend booking the Princess Breakfast Adventure in advance but do let us know if anyone has had luck scoring a walk-up! 😀 Also, this breakfast is ONLY served Thursday through Monday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, so do keep that in mind as well!
