Welcome to our life! New vlogs every other day!
We are new puppy parents, planning our wedding and our Spring 2019 Disneymoon! We started this channel in February 2017 to document the lead up to our wedding and in that time so much has changed. We've moved from London, to Scotland and back to England, been to Disney World, gained a fur baby and Dave has spent 10 months touring the country with UK number 1 tour The Play That Goes Wrong! In short, Dave is an actor, Sophie loves Disney and Chip is always getting himself into mischief! We hope you join us on this adventure!

I started watching your vlogs a few days ago when you posted your day 1 at Disney for your honeymoon. I was just looking for new Disney vlogs but I fell in love with your channel and have been going back and watching your wedding vlogs and older vlogs too. I’m excited that I have a lot of catching up to do! My husband and I have been married for 6 years, but I have to say that you two are relationship goals- you are both perfect for each other! So lovely watching these vlogs - I got married in November 2017 and went to Disney world for our honeymoon and stayed at the Animal Kingdom lodge too. It had really taken me back to all the wonderful memories. Now I’m watching these vlogs with our 6 week old son on my lap 🥰 can’t wait to go back.

We learned that on days we have a big reservation planned for dinner we don't eat breakfast, we eat an early lunch then we are able to eat at our reservation. We also generally have plenty of snack credits left to take some nummy Disney snacks home...

When I need to cancel a dining plan, I modify first to another day And time, then cancel it!

12:54 i totally agree! We had just the quick service dining plan back in 2017 and I felt like I ate way more than I needed to! It’s like..I’m not that hungry but I have a snack credit so..Dole whip it is!!

I can't wait to see what you had left over with credits. I should have sent you guys a extra suitcase!. Happy you stuck it out n went to dinner there it was called top of the world back in 80's! It was fancey had band back than. A lot places to watch fireworks from resorts but that's one of the best! Thanks again for sharing

I agree with you about the dining plan! My mom and I used it on our most recent trip, and at first I thought it wouldn’t be enough food. It ended up being a lot, especially with the desserts at table service restaurants. After being out in the heat all day, my appetite isn’t as strong.

Top tip re cancelling reservations, not sure if it still works but it did in September, move the reservation by a couple of days and then cancel..... no charge is then applied for cancelling.

I always found that I wasn’t hungry for my dining reservations but when I was in Epcot I wasn’t feeling well and we had Tappan Edo booked but we just went in and the lady was super nice and said if you ever want to cancel go into the restaurant or ring them and cancel it that way so you don’t get charged from the app, it sort of takes that worry away

To deal with all the food on the dining plan, I skip breakfast, eat a very early lunch and a late dinner. Usually 7 hours between meals.

Little tip, if you want to cancel your dining reservation but not pay, just move it to the next day and then you cancel it without a charge on the next day :)

How did you guys get two tier one fastpasses? Did you do the thing where you used three up and then got more, or were you able to get Frozen and Soarin' at the same time? I know when I went I was able to pick between Frozen and Soarin', but I couldn't get both.

aww man I don't know if you figured it out later or not, but although you cant cancel a reservation the same day, you can modify it to a different day and then cancel it and avoid the fee if you decide you don't have time to avoid the fee.

DFB Tip, If you need to "Cancel" a meal after the cutoff time. Just reschedule it for a later date, at no penalty. Then you are able to cancel it, again without the penalty.

We went to a 1 hour Disney vacation club talk. It’s at Saratoga Springs you get to see models of Riviera and Copper Creek, at the end you get given a Disney gift card and 3 fast passes each, highly recommend doing it. We didn’t know it was a thing until we were approached by a cm to go along to it xx

I had the same issue with the dining plan... I found it to be a waste of money for me because by the time dinner rolled around I was just so not hungry! I kept trying to force myself to get my money's worth but overall I found it really wasteful. Won't be getting it again but I am happy I tried it!

In the future, you can modify your reservation for the future and the cancel that reservation that way you don't get charged for canceling the same say.
