Athens, Greece - a two bedroom house costs from 300 from 600 euros, depending on the floor and the area of the city you wish to live in. Your home is very well decorated, it inspired a future change or two in our place - keep on making great videos and live a great life!!
I live approx 200km south of Sydney Australia on the coast and rent for a 3br house would be about $1500-2000/mth. When my son lived in Sydney city for work he rented a 1br apartment for $2800/mth. It cost more too as he had a parking space
The condo looks EPIC. Depressingly, a 2 bed apartment in Dublin with similar amenities (in a semi depressing location cause its surrounded by dead unused fields and further from downtown) is CAD 3100. YES, you read that right. 3100. Real estate market sucks 😭 doomed for the commuter belt here.
I keep telling people that Toronto and Vancouver aren't as insanely priced as they think for rentals, but no one believes me when I tell them the prices here in Fredericton aren't that much cheaper, and have way fewer opportunities for jobs. Especially for me, since I'm trying to get into film. Soon as I can get the money together and the industry comes back from the pandemic, I'm moving.
To buy is huge difference, not mant peolle from Toronto can afford to buy these condos, u have to make at least over 100k annual to even have a chance at cheap condo n there isnt joba like that everywhere. U can rent with roommates but by yourself i are looking at least 1700 up
Thats far from core downtown and takes more than 10mins to get there keeping CN tower as reference. These days you can get a 2bedroom in core downtown for that price.
First reaction: Ok nice, but why? Second reaction: Damn that's a nice place, but I guess fair at $2500/month *Checks Canadian Dollar to British Pound* Third reaction: THAT'S LESS THAN WE PAY FOR OUR TINY SHITTY 1 BEDROOM IN LONDON smh....
It’s very expensive for Toronto. Rent prices have gone out of control last five years. London has a much bigger population than Toronto that Toronto rent should be significantly less than London.
My 2 bdrm is 1300 sq/ft on the 25th floor in London and it goes for $1600/mo. has 2 full bathrooms, a large kitchen, all the amenities you'd want in a unit and a pool, exercise room and sauna. No basketball court though, but then again I don't play basketball. Congrats on your $2500 unit!
Been waiting for this for a while. My curiosity has been sated. The condo looks EPIC. Also, the fact that this is cheaper than the equivalent in Dublin is HIGHLY depressing. Real estate market sucks 😭
I can recommend WD40 for the garbage can. Helps with everything that makes sounds and it also helps with stuck parts. Great to fix stuff around the house or apartment.
I got ~460 square feet for $320 USD per month.. So i could live almost 8 months here in Sweden for the price of one month at your place.. But i do live in northern Sweden in the middle of nothing, lol..
I live in Trinidad and Tobago in a 400sq ft studio that cost $2,000 ttd / $300 usd and the Apartment upstairs is a 2 bedroom and cost 3,000 ttd/ $450 usd. I was very lucky to find this place, but it depends on the area. Naturally, the cost of apartments in the US and Canada give me anxiety.
Damn! I'm right downtown and pay the same amount. Its slightly smaller with the next step down in terms of kitchen fixtures. Crazy how a couple kms changes the value.
may I ask what's the name of building you are living, as I am very impressed. I have been looking at many condos but until I saw your place, loved it so much, thanks
Well, I own my apartment, it's not a rental but people on my town pay around 9000 Mexican Pesos (around 500 Canadian dollars) for the same size of yours! Even bigger with 3 rooms. We don't have a pool, or a super equipped gym only a roof garden, and playground areas for kids It's a sketchy town. Waaaay different to what you got. But I work at the airport and it's a 25 minutes walk! A year ago I would spend around 2 to 3 hours from home to work and I got tired of that.
Ooww, did Lizzy lost a dare? doesn't matter I just look the home tour on Chires channel. I expect the 'office tour' on Lizzy here channel soon 😉 Loved the tour, looks absolutely amazing!
CHRIS/LIZZIE!! Please answer this! I have the same dishwasher. My dishes are NEVER are dry. I have to open it up and let it sit for like 5 hours lol. What do you do to. get your dishes dry?
Living just outside Vancouver 🇨🇦. The housing prices are real!! With that said I’m here for the long haul. The weather, mountains and ocean are too good to give up!
@@thechrishau Nashville, TN - crazy expensive for a southern state. There are some that are cheaper, but for what you have...that's what you have to pay.
Nice Chris, thanks! However, I noticed you had all the spines of your books turned away from the camera, and now I'm extremely curious: A - Was that on purpose? and B - What are you reading? Or are they literally just deco? Thanks for the content!
Awesome condo tour Chris! Hey I'm not sure if I'm blind but did you post the link to that awesome mirror where you displayed your liquor and cocktail glasses?
HAHAHA, just came from a Chinese man showing his nothing special studio in Canada. Bro, I would say your place is something special that you can boast to the world about Canada nice house market. Anyway, you got THE VIEW, and all kind of resorts. I score that apartment as A+ house in the world. And that house values at least 1M if it is a roomy place. Love it and stunning pretty Toronto Bay. Maybe you can be house seller. HAHAHA no kidding.🙂🙂🙂
Wow...I should make a video on what $2900/month (Canadian) gets you in Burnaby with a view of downtown Vancouver. I guarantee you it is not as nice as yours - lol.
I def wouldn't consider this area part of Toronto, this area is located in Etobicoke This still requires about a 10-20 minute drive into the city depending on traffic and atleast a 45 minute transit ride Dont get me wrong, its a great place to live and I love the area but unless you drive getting to the DT core is a hassle
Your condo is stunning! Watching the video with my girlfriend was a big mistake though! Now she wants to move our broke butts out of downtown Brampton 😅
Hey Chris, I understand Toronto has one of the best public transport systems in the Americas. How often do you take the train or bus as opposed to driving?
