I just stumbled upon your channel. In a few years I'm planning to move my family from California to Missouri around Kansas City liberty area. You're honestly an inspiration for my wife and I and my two boys. Thank you. I will be watching from here on out. Thank you.
Hi...... Jake so nice to see you all I really enjoy your video beautiful Duck to see in the pond, thank you for sharing your video homestead chicken farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🐕🐖🐈🌱🐄🎥👍👍👍
@@crauter7451 actually crossbreeding would be the best thing for Hookbills, they are so massively inbred that they have fertility, hatching and thriving issues, so many die due to being inbred. Outcrossing is the way to save the breed.
*I am honored to be one of the old subscribers, when I first knew about your chanel ..you barely had 10k subs at that time .. Now you're inspiring 500k and more .* Am soooo happy for you 🤘😍
Its really sweet seeing you guys accommodate each animal, there your family as well & you make sure each and every single one is comfortable. This is refreshing to see you doing everything you can to make Amelia feel at home with the other ducks in there new pen. 🥰
This is great! The ducks look really happy and lively - they're ducks after all! Thanks for making this video, as I always enjoy looking at ducks/geese on the water!
Talking from experience those kids are going to have Wonderful memories, the kind of things that make us beautiful and better people ... Well done White House OTH (mum and dad) big BIG thanks
Another great video! I feel kind of bad for Amelia though. She is definitely the "odd one out" in the flock, being the only one of her species that you still have on the farm (For anyone wondering, all of the other ducks, while different breeds, are all the same species. They are all Mallards (Anas platyrynchos). Muscovies on the other hand, are an entirely different genus and species (Cairina moschata). They do belong to the same family (Anatidae) but probably different subfamilies, with Mallards being dabbling ducks or "true ducks" (Anatinae), while Muscovies seem to belong with the shelducks and sheldgeese (Tadorninae), though their taxonomic placement has been changed and debated over the years).
I think it is crazy that my male red golden pheasant is growing his adult feathers at the same rate as yours. I am always excited when a new video comes out!
The life you are giving your children is absolutely phenomenal. These boys are going to grow up to be amazing able productive men . I grew up in a similar setting now at 30 i couldnt be more thankful for it!
Emilia is just social distancing it’s all fine, just tell her the pandemic is over and I’m sure she will be back and hangin with the other duck in no time
I wanted to thank you for your amazing videos and clean content. My 10 yr old ADHD girl has been watching you for several years. She has struggled with finding her identity with peers as she is "100% nature girl." Your channel has taught her so much and given her such a confidence in who she is. Thank you♡
Goodness for you I have a few Muscovy ducks that my dad want to get rid of and he wants to process them and then eat them and I'm totally against that so I sold two of them and I still have three more there muscovies they are beautiful I'll DM you on Instagram if you want them, just tell me you are totally welcome
OH the baby is getting sooo big!!!! Love watching you guys...very envious of your lifestyle....while I am stuck here in the crowded LOUD, COVID infested city 😔
Love watching your family grow as well as your farm! Love how much the boys have grown and how helpful they are now! Thank you for sharing your family with Us 👍
I mostly think that they’re excited to be in the water. When my ducks go in their kiddypools, they start splashing around and making happy duck quacks :D
I love your videos, I have been watching for 2 years and just found you again! I love seeing all the things that happen on the farm! Keep making amazing content! 😊💕💫
Cog Hill Farm tried that door...and it didnt work well. Chickens rushed the door and the safety mechanism shut the door down 40% of the time. They change it out with another one that slides sideways, manufactured by Omlet. That so far works better... tbc... (thumbs up) BTW: you boys have grown soooo much this year. They are amazing kids from amazing parent.
You guys inspired me to get 6 chicks and take care of them every single day I’m only 12 years old and my chicks are 6 weeks old and you guys are just so amazing at making videos and when I grow up I just wanna live like you guys do And I showed my mom your channel and she like your channel and kept watching it
Did Becky say they got a milk machine? If so that is awesome! I imagine that must be much easier on all involved and help keep Daisy and Dolly's stress down.
I think you should get Amelia some other muscovy duck friends. I feel like she doesn’t bond with the other ducks as much. Great video! I love this channel !
I just love Amelia...I hope she bonds with her clan. I think she needs another Muskovy friend though :) Uriah is growing up so fast...he looked so proud of his green lantern ahhhh!! What is the black and orange chicken called with the feathery head....sooo cool!
Muscovy ducks are tree ducks and like to roost like chickens!! That's why she is going back to the chicken coop, I think you will need to put some roosting bars up for her 🦆🦆
