It’s so amazing seeing joe with his nan and granddad. Mine live in Scotland and me being from Liverpool I barley get to see them. It’s so nice seeing how much he loves them and cares about them! I just found out my granny has cancer and it’s so heartbreaking, I treasure all my moments with her ❤️

Today i found out my grandad died. My brothers didnt really understand but me and my dad were devastated. I was so heartbroken because i didnt spend enough time with him. I saw him one time a year, and sometimes i didnt even see him once during the year. Then my parents, my brothers, my mums parents and i moved to ireland, and left my grandad, we hadnt seen him in 4 years. And then he passed away. Always spend time with your family and loved ones. If you havent already today, tell your family you love them because you and them wont be here forever.

Love that you are an ambassador of Age Uk! I am an activities coordinator in a care home for dementia residents and my 13 year old son volunteers there and some never get visitors or have any family so social inclusion is so important in giving them quality of life! Well done!
