Despite having no prior experience, my partner and I decided to embark on the exciting journey of building a container house and farmstead in the heart of the Nosara jungle in Costa Rica. We were determined to create a unique and eco-friendly living space that aligned with our sustainable living goals, even though we faced the challenges of building in a remote location with limited resources.
Through trial and error, we learned many new skills, including welding a kitchen together and working on the landscaping. By repurposing recycled materials and implementing innovative design strategies, we were able to reduce our environmental footprint while creating a stylish and functional dwelling that met our needs.
