The lunch for Tita Sonja looked amazing. I love that moment of "she brought trees." She was so generous with the host gifts, lol. I didn't realize until now that the ampalaya that you've been talking about is the same as bitter melon used in Cantonese cooking. Fun.

Sonya is such a dear person full of wisdom and positive energy ! She’s a kindred spirit 😊. During the pandemic (and even post pandemic) my small garden is like a SANCTUARY😝. But I mostly have succulents 😅easy to take care of where I’m located 🌵🌴. Hope one day to visit Sonya’s secret Garden in Tagaytay! So happy you guys got to share this moment with her ❤

Also called royal poinciana, flamboyant tree, peacock tree, or flame of the forest? It seems like a great addition to plant because it would more enhance the beauty of your garden. even Kermit cannot pass on the chance to meet Ms Sonya. 😄 Glad the flowers on the entrance to the garden are back and they look beautiful just like before. nice to see the chickens roaming freely now. I think jade vine will grow best inside the finches aviary and hopefully when it grows successfully you can add some in to the orchadia. it's crazy how the forest transforms and became alive again now that it's rainy season.
