It's good to hear from you. Thank you! We got there very early, but there was already a long line of cars in front of us, and only 22 vehicles could go onto the ferry. So, our position in the line placed us on the last boat. Thank you for asking about the new name, I planned to explain it in another video and what inspired it. ❤️

We traveled at a peek time, so when we thought we got there early by reaching 4:30am there were already a lot of cars in front of us. Only 22 vehicles can fit on the ferry, so our position in line placed us on the last boat, which is why we had to wait so long. I suppose if you travel now, you would get on the first boat reaching at that time.

Similar enough, however Guyanese, Surinamese and Indians would agree that Indian Surinamese have preserved a lot more of the authentic Indian culture.

@@CharLInd12 yes most still speak an Indian language unlike Guyana Trinidad and Mauritius Indians in Suriname and Fiji maintain Indian languages despite not being immigrants

We did eat a few dishes that tasted similar to Guyanese food, but the flavor wasn't quite exact. For a more generalized answer, I would say no. They have a mix of cuisine, one of which is Japanese food that we enjoyed. This statement is only based on my own experience, though. I think everyone's experience would be different when it's comes to food. It would depend on where you go to eat and what you buy. The Japanese dishes were tasty and flavourful. We enjoyed it. P.s. If you intend to visit, I recommend trying different cuisines. There are a lot of options when it comes to food.

Come and give it a try i say. The options here when it comes to food is endless. From Indonesian to Korean (in short, almost all Asian dishes can be found here) to Mediterranean, European and Creool.

They are building a bridge to link both Suriname and Guyana so this wait will no longer happen!!
