I can testify that you don't want to be casting over the boat. I gave my dad the prettiest Gray Ghost earring on the Current River in Missouri few decades ago. He bled, the fly got ruined and the day's fishing was done. Three bad things that can happen from casting over the boat. Keep the good things coming guys.

Happy 2024 Brian and team. Thank you for the great advice throughout the year. It actually feels like I am a part of a fly fishing community. It felt great to get back to the water over the holidays. It even felt better that I could share fly fishing with a younger generation (Above all of it a girl and her dad) that took great interest in fly fishing.
