One of the guitarists of brand of sacrifice, Michael Leo Valeri used to be in a band called Ascariasis. They were progressive deathcore, and they had REALLY sick and difficult guitar parts. Check out the Ocean of Colour EP, it's excellent!

As a general rule I live by, if the genre has -core as a suffix, I'm not going to like it. Most of it is just breakdowns, lazy barre chords, and cringe-worthy dudebros who couldn't play themselves out of a 3rd grade recital.

Pedantic annoying brand identity/style guide tip here. Match the color of the yellow elements in the videos with the yellow in the channel logo design (which is also a slightly more pleasing hue) for +500 brand design/coherence points. Love your content, matching yellows or not❤

Look up the best song off the EP (Imo) called Ov Brimstone And Fire - Redux (important that it's the redux version, he added quite a bit on the album vs the earlier single).

Think about investing in a wall mounted can crusher, I have one and it's great! All those "sparkling water" cans become like, 1/10th their original size, so you can fit so many more in your bin before you have to take it out!

Are deathcore riffs any good? Let's broaden that to include metalcore and answer it this way; a blind squirrel will find the occasional nut. If anyone needs that further explained for them then it wouldn't be surprising if they're a fan of deathcore and/or metalcore.

I had never heard of this band but I was at an August Burns Red show recently they were also playing. Found a shirt for Brand of Sacrifice that I liked a lot and decided if I liked them enough I'd buy the shirt. Funny enough I'm wearing the shirt right now as I came across this video
