We had a few surprises on this travel day, but in the end, we had a lot of fun and a relaxing flight. That comfortable sleeping position might have made it all worth it.
Thanks for the video. I live in the UK and am travelling on my birthday in March for the first time ever in Business class. It's only from London to Aberdeen so I wont get the same luxurious experience you had. However I am looking forward to the airport lounge, fast track check in, and a few free beers on the plane. To get a few extra tier points is also why I am doing it, so I can go up in status. Well done for not using the bedding (f not needed). I would most likely have done the same thing.
Good for you! My first business class experience was a bit euphoric. The novelty has worn off for me but it still is a VERY nice way to travel. By the way, premium economy can be pretty comfortable at a fraction of the cost. I will be flying a lot of premium economy in my retirement. The cost difference between that and business often isn't worth it and I will need to watch my spending more.
Really like being able to lay down on the longer flights. We will have to try it some day. But worried we will get spoiled and really hate economy after that.
