My first car was a 08 plate Peugeot 308 had it for 3 years and it never caused me any bother. Moved on to a 12 plate Ford b-max, great car for my kids with the sliding back doors, but although bigger than the Peugeot, it somehow had a smaller boot so wasn’t my favourite. Now I have a 19 plate Vauxhall Grandland X and I LOVE IT. Proper upgrade from where I started ❤

I had my A2 tdi for 2 years, I was also doing my apprenticeship as a mechanic. Best car I ever owned, it was mapped to 100bhp by revo and I did about 30k miles in it without any real issues. Really miss that car

Just passed my test today and went out for my first drive, there’s actually nothing better than having played forza etc for years and then getting into your own car and putting your foot down keep the vids coming guys !

That lady with the poor opinion of the Audi is a philistine! Fantastic car, which my dad absolutely wanted one of for his retirement, as a first car choice. I'd actually be torn to pick between the 2 cars as they're both brilliant fun. Also I'm almost my dads age now when he wanted the A2 but still very much a boy racer in a Hobo Santa body.

I had an A2 up until about 5 years ago when the electrics started playing up. I'd still be driving it now if it wasn't for that. Awesome little car if acceleration and MPG aren't top of your list.

I had a 2003 A2 1.6 FSI as my first car of which I've just sold. Brilliant little car and really good fun to chuck around. Will always have a fondness for them. (just bought a MK3 MX5 1.8)

OMG, Daniel, your mate looks about 25 now, look at the size of him - you haven't altered one bit!!! I had a Panda as a courtesy car from a garage years ago, it was awful. It was the old type with a 750 or 800cc engine, 2 door and around 40BHP. It had a massive hole in the filler pipe, so when I tried putting petrol in it, it poured out. It did 0-60 in 18s. The 100BHP would be a lot better and more refined. The A2 looks good too I prefer diesel, my last one being a 2litre with 170BHP, it would do 0-60 in 8s, hit 147mph on GPS and got through a couple of DPFs. £30 tax and 55MPG in town and 72mpg on the motorway. I love diesel turbo cars, the 30-50 time is half that of a petrol and it feels the same with 4 people as it does with 1. I had to go back to petrol and only get 33MPG in town, 45mpg on a motorway, but 143mph and 0-60 in 7.5s, the biggest annoyance is £165 road tax and higher insurance. With a diesel, only use a proper REMAP, do *NOT* use those cheap nasty tuning boxes that just raise the fuel pressure or you can say bye to the engine in no time. They are a scam, a cheap £5 voltage multiplier circuit put in a fancy box and sold for £500+. They take a value and multiply by a preset value, so when it is cold and the ECU injects more diesel, the voltage multiplier increases that causing smoking and clattering. They don't communicate with the ECU like all other engine components. On a diesel, SMOKE = BROKE. Black smoke is unused fuel burned off in the exhaust system, it means far too much is being injected, not used for combustion, wasted and there is no proper control by the ECU. You should have had a drag race, the Panda would kill that Audi !

this is great to see my first car was a fiat panda pop 1 litre but a newer model (2014). ive not been driving 2 years and i bought a fiesta st3 2016 in spirit blue. when u upgrade so a faster car its such a crazy feeling!

wonder how these compare against my CRZ. I love the panda 100hp and Audi A2, both very interesting cars to me.

lemme just say as someone who's been driving a lil over a year, 1: dont go out and get a stupid second car, i did and i both do and dont regret it, ended up buying an Audi TT 200hp tfsi, a month the insurance alone is £300 without a blackbox and thats a years NCB and being 20 (age usually pays towards it aswell) 2: drive smart and dont drive like a twat, dont get me wrong, i definitely have and sometimes still do HOWEVER only drive fast when the conditions permit it, such as a clear empty day on a dual carriage way in the dry, last thing you wanna do is aquaplan doing upwards of 80 or more, enjoy your cars they're definitely great starters!

That headrest holder only comes on the bench seat that seats 3, the regular backseats only take two but they're entirely removable, turn the A2 into a cube van.

My first car was also a Panda but a 2003 1.2 with 60 hp. but I abused it af. Redlines drifts burnout and a downhill top speed of 180 km/h on the speedo. Mine also had when I sold it 58.000 miles and i sold it for 4.000 euros in 2022
