Welcome to our first cruise vacation in Alaska! In this video, we'll take you through our embarkation day, starting with a scenic train ride from Anchorage to Seward. Along the way, we'll show you the stunning views of the Alaskan wilderness, including glaciers, mountains, and wildlife.
Once we arrive in Seward, we'll take you through the embarkation process, including checking in, going through security, and boarding the ship. We'll also give you a tour of our cabin and show you some of the amenities on board.
What a great day as we get ready for a fantastic 7 day cruise on the Celebrity Millennium. The train from Anchorage to Seward was pretty amazing. A must for those leaving from Seward.

out side of the gun shot, the day was pretty awesome. The train from anchorage to Seward was great, lots of scenery and boarding the ship was super painless. Not a lot to do in Seward while we waited, but did some touring around and then spend the day exploring the ship. Remember that Alaska has completely different gun regulations than in Canada. Alaska is an open carry state.

This video is making me consider starting my cruise from Seward rather than a round trip from Seattle. What ls the name and cost of the train you took from Anchorage?

I think it was just called the Alaska Railway. But it was really good.and was defintiey worth it

Wow even where the ship lies is a beautifull place, mountains and water awesome. Question was it me or was the ZV1 footage jittery (look at the people walking jst behind you)

It was a little jittery but I was walking fast and I had the shutter speed set to low.

Enjoyed the video and positive energy. Did you take the train at 6:45 am? I am thinking of taking a trip from Seward. But staying in Seward as well for a few days to take in the Fjord. Are you from the East Coast. Enjoyed listening to your accent. Keep up the videos!! They are great!

yes we took the morning trail. We really enjoyed it. Was a great way to get to the Cruise ship and see the area between Anchorage and Seward. Make sure to check out or other channel, which is brand new. @gregtoopevlogandTravel. We are reposting some of the videos there, but we are heading on a trip next week and should have lots more travel coming up over the next year. And yes we are from the East Coast. Nova Scotia to be exact. 😁

us either, but i have to say it was fun. during the day you aren't really ever on the ship as you are touring the port. And it was pretty cool to wake up somewhere new.
