Wow.....quite simply the best cruise video/guide to a port day in Hamburg we've ever seen. And we've watched a few, because this is place we want to visit this year. Great research and detailed history etc. Loved that Elbe tunnel, and many of the other sights you captured here.
That's a wonderful comment, thanks a lot. I did actually film the whole walk to the tunnel but it was either too long for a highlights video, or too fast to see where you were going so I just showed bits. I'll probably do a full walking one that's longer to show the whole route from the cruise terminal. Thanks again, it's people like you that make it worthwhile producing these videos
Doing anything creative has the risk of criticism or rejection, so its good to receive positive comments and encouragements. Keep making these videos for your own joy, and yeah, be mindful that they need to entertain and engage other peoples interest, but we have learned through our own experience that it can be deeply disappointment when you create something you feel confident will appeal to people, only to find it falls flat and dies!!@@timsharp
Yes, that's why I dubbed Hamburg Gotham City, they look like something you might see in a Batman film. The men in the little sentry boxes with the big moustaches add to the retro future look - I should have taken a close up of one.
The first night - Monday 2nd February Southampton, our Daily Program suggests evening dress as White and The White Party is listed in the Euribia Lounge on Deck 6 and the Galleria Euribia. We didn't notice it I'm afraid - being new to cruising we don't really know what it means, or perhaps I should say why it happens?
