September 2022 Liberty of the Seas Day 1
After our first try to cruise to Jamaica and the Caymans and contracting COVID in the process, we decided that we would try again.

The first still shots are of us arriving at Cozumel, one Carnival ship docks ahead of us, and four others are already in port! Ian has really made it difficult for everyone! Can you imagine how many people are ashore?
In the following still photo, we are preparing to leave the ship in our stateroom when I notice the lifeboats are in the water! Our first thoughts were of someone had jumped ship or had fallen off the dock? Not to worry, seems that it was only a drill.
The next still is of Lan in the shopping area. We did not stay long as there were just too many people milling about.
Next is a 35-second video clip of all the ships docked. Count them, six ships! Man, there were a lot of people here.
Lastly, an ambulance brought a couple people back to the ship before our departure. Do not what happened, perhaps partied too hard?
