Afternoon tea is a refined, elegant ritual for light refreshments in the afternoon, while high tea is a more substantial, practical meal typically served in the early evening.
Afternoon tea and high tea are actually two different occasions that define a social status of two groups of people, in those days. Afternoon tea was often served at a low table in a parlor or drawing room and thus called 'low' tea or 'afternoon tea'…enjoyed by upper échelonnés of English society. In contrast, High Tea is for manors’ servants in the kitchen after a hard day's work, and was served in the early evening over high tables, hence it called high tea.
A really fresh take on vlogging in KL. Usually its vloggers who cover the inexpensive sites and restaurants....nice to see a family enjoying the kind of haute cuisine that are available in KL and the kind of high end quality service a 5 star hotel can offer discerning visitors. Nicely done.
We recently came across your channel and have been binge watching your Thai adventures. Such a charismatic family full of positive vibes.. cheers for putting out some amazing content. As for KL recommendations, a day trip to Genting highlands or Penang would be good if you have time.
Afternoon tea is just tea with some sandwiches and pastries on few layers of trays while high tea has more varieties sort of buffet style with sweet and savoury food. Genting highlands which is just an hour’s drive from KL up the mountain should be an option with cool weather and attractions
I hope you can stay until 31/8\2023 we have independence Day in Malaysia we call hari merdeka in dataran Merdeka kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾🇲🇾🫡🫡hope you all enjoy in Malaysia
Welcome back to Malaysia. Great to have you guys back. This is a lovely and very well made video. I like the unhurried feel of it and im so happy your little girl is enjoying herself. Have a wonderful stay.
Afternoon Tea is a drink and snack at about 2:30-3:30pm ish. its like breakfast, its just a thing you can do at a certain time of day. High tea is the experience. Being served a fancy afternoon tea, usually actual tea and pastries. Whereas for afternoon tea it could easily be coffee and a biscuit. Or a tea and a sandwich. Or my favourite as a kid, juice and friend potatoes. High tea is the mini cupcakes, slices, tea and club sandwiches. Where you sit around pretending your a royal being served cakes in the afternoon.
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾. Enjoy your trip here. Kindly bring your kid to KidZania Kuala Lumpur and theme park at Genting Highlands. You could go to Genting by bus in the morning and back to KL at night. Your kid would love Genting theme park. Happy trip.
Great idea. Let's not forget the large aquarium at the Petronas Twin Towers (Aquaria KLCC) and also the amazing Petrosains, a perfect science museum for the little girl.
Done subscribed. Welcome to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There's another great Animal Park for the kids at the Kuala Lumpur Tower..or KL Tower. Bring the girl to Kuala Gandah, Elephants Sanctuary and Rehabilitation Centre in Lancang Pahang. Admission is Free. About 1 and half hr drive from KL. Have a wonderful time explore Kuala Lumpur.
Welcome 🎉 do bring your girl to Kidzania, Genting Highlands indoor and outdoor park, Berjaya indoor park and Sunway Pyramid Mall or ioi Mall for ice skating.
it's really nice to see your family enjoying the hotel that much. People usually book nice hotels but spend all day long outside and never really enjoy hotels until bed time. Btw, is it a sponsored stay ?

Hi lovely fam, welcomed to Malaysia. You may want to bring your lil girl to KL indoor theme park at Berjaya Times Square Mall or IOI Mall.. Or outdoor theme park at Genting Highland or if she likes swimming activity you can bring her to the largest lagoon pool at Sunway Lagoon ... She might like it. Enjoy your stay :) To know Malaysia is to love Malaysia...
To be specific it’s IOI City Mall in Putrajya as IOI mall most local will be referring to the one in Puchong. Both malls belong to a local conglomerate IOI Group
Malia and the bidet 😂😂😂😂 awesome croissants 👀….. who the hell comes from England and not partaken in afternoon or high tea 🤔🤨😂😂. I think the difference is one is more sweet treat and the other savoury. Great video guys 😊
@WhereNextFamily yes they too hv more than 7000 birds like us. And area size is larger too. So I am just curious how it works out. Other attractions too have some "conflict" Example: 1) steepest cable car : Norway vs langkawi, tri cable vs single cable 2) biggest hotel by rooms: Moscow vs genting highlands 3) bird park: kl vs mandai singapore What is certain, 31st August we will open merdeka 118, the 2nd tallest building in the world.
Everything we own is in our bags. Remember we don't "live" anywhere. We travel full time, so we kind of are moving country every time we travel 🤣 I think we do OK considering we fit all of our possessions into 3 big suitcases 🙂
Hi Hi, welcome, and most of the places, you can request your food & drinks to be less spicy (ku-rang pe-das) or less sweet (ku-rang ma-nis) due to M'sian "high" spicy tolerance and over sweetness
Your posts are brilliant with one exception: The awful YT bumper "Music". It is loud, unpleasant, and very far from musical. It's just noise. If this is what AI has in store, Heaven help us.
I’m just kidding. I like this channel. Im a single father with a 3 year old daughter and I have full custody. I’m considering doing this travel thing myself.
