Yes, you can buy tickets for any metro station, now matter how many metro you are changing. While buying the tickets just tell your destination station at ticket counter. They will give you the appropriate ticket. That will cost less as well.
The stations are not usually so busy. The station Chattarpur has a famous temple and it's Navratri festival going in India so people visit temple a lot during the festival. I have seen you negotiating with Tuk Tuk drivers about pricing so just buy 2 metro passes +10% discount for using card. You can return and get refunded for metro passes once you leave Delhi.
1) You don't need separate tickets for different lines. You pay on the basis of your destination and then use the same ticket to scan yourselves in at the transfer station without buying a separate ticket. 2) Not just dedicated seats for Women and Differently abled people in all coaches, every Delhi metro has the first coach in the direction of the train reserved only for women.
@@HimanshuKumar-vz7fk you don't have to go through exit gates to change to different metro line, different metro lines are present in the same interchange metro station at different floor levels.
@@ChaseandShelbsGo to Indonesia bro, take the Indonesian fast train Jakarta - Bandung, the first highest speed train in Southeast Asia, the speed is 355 K kilometers, the newest one, the city of Bandung is beautiful and comfortable and cool and cool, lots of good and cool tourist attractions.
@@anuragtiwari388just tell them to buy a metro card so that they don’t have wait in long line and they can easily top up on the machines and don’t have to do so much hassle 😂😂
You can purchase metro card to avoid these lines. You don't need to buy ticket again nd again just buy once up to your destination. No matter Whichever is the line..
We Indian are always believe in hospitality. And for your just better experience abt further Delhi metro journey, you càn take ticket from station to till last station and it's valid for all metro line. No need to take multiple ticket for different different metro line. You guy's can take customer service or take help any locals on metro station.Welcome to incredible India and enjoy ur rest journey here.🇮🇳🙏😊
You should travel in Delhi metro between 12-3pm for avoiding crowd. And you don't need to take separate tickets on different lines. You can buy tickets or tokens from your starting station to your destination station. Doesn't matter how much lines you change. ❤ From 🇮🇳
What a lovely couple !!❤You both look really good together just like a couple made in heaven and embraced by God❤ May you have a peaceful and loving life ahead and some loving memories from India too😊
if you guys want to travel from delhi metro again than you didnt need to purchase a second ticket/token. for example, if you pick metro from karol bagh(blue line) and want to go new delhi metro station so you just have to look at the map and see the route and purchase direct token/ticket for new delhi, you will find you have intersection of blue line and yellow line(where you will find metro for new delhi metro) at rajiv chowk. so you have to out for rajiv chowk and can ask officials for interchange for yellow lines means there is different section where yellow line metros are crossings. you dont need to exit first from rajiv chowk and than purchase token for new delhi. and one simple thing is you can first ask to metro official for your desired station where you want to go and can ask the route or interchange/intersection.
1. Great video of your first Delhi Metro ride 2. For your query, you can ask anything on the Customer Care booth from the executive posted there. These booths are on every station right besides the Entry/Exit AFC Gates. Since the ticket counter guy is too busy to be answering questions. 3. To expand upon your query: You don't need to buy separate tickets for different lines. You simply buy a through ticket at your Starting Station A to your Destination Station B (on any line across the whole DMRC network) and then you can switch between different lines at the respective interchange stations well within the system without having to check-out and check back in at the AFC gates of the interchange/transfer station, like from exit platform on your initial line to the platform on the other line for boarding train to your destination station or the next interchange station (if your journey involves more than 1 interchanges/transfers/switchovers). 4. Tip for future : You can always buy your ₹200/- Smart Cards at the same Customer Care Booths mentioned in Point# 1 for a seamless hassle free travel and avoiding the crowded ticket lines while you are in the city. And once you are leaving the city, you can return the Smart Card(s) and get refunded of any leftover balance when you make the last exit on your final trip in the DMRC network. Thanks Namaste 🙏
You don't need to buy separate tickets.just tell the destination at the ticket counter and he will give you one ticket and lines can be changed at the changing point without going out of station or rebuying tickets.
5:54 you will see security checks like that while entering into a crowded places in India, thanks to our "friendly" neighbor Pakistan. You guys probably aren't aware, but we have been under attack for decades, on multiple occasions, where hundreds and thousands of people were killed, buildings, trainlines, hotels and even our parliament were attacked with guns and bombs, by "friends" sent to Indian soil from our neighbor. So, we take security pretty seriously now, it may feel like inconvenience at first, but you get habituated to it pretty fast. Better safe than getting slightly inconvenienced. While the western countries invade the source of origin countries(Iraq, Afghanisthan) even after a single terrorist attack, we Indians still keep diplomatic relation with Pakistan, welcome their players with warmth, treat every patients that come from Pakistan to India for treatment, run pilgrimage services for the Pakistani pilgrims, run regular joint border ceremonies everyday while occasionally taking in ethnic minorities that get persecuted in Pakistan...and still kind of treat them like a long lost brother, who got misguided and bitter with us.
Thank you for sharing all of that! We actually don’t mind. We feel like it’s better safe than sorry as well. We can’t begin to understand the underlying history between India and Pakistan because I’m sure there is a lot that the media does and didn’t show. It’s always great to be informed though so we appreciate this.
India isnt USA and Pakistan isnt Afghanistan Pakistan is a nuclear armed country with 6th largest military, we cant just invade them unprovoked. Also Iraqis and Afghanis didnt cause 9/11, Saudis did. USA didnt invade Saudi Arabia coz they r allies. Similarly Pakistani terrorists & LeT use American weapons in India. Gives u a hint on who is actually funding them.
@@ChaseandShelbsas a general rule pakis will tell you india and Pakistan are like brothers and sisters but the truth is india dosent like Pakistan at all and they unnecessarily attach their name to us, we don’t give a fuck about Pakistan and don’t want anything to do with them.
Kinda refreshing to see a NORMAL COUPLE whose not trying to buy the cheapest local train tickets for a few cents and hang their heads from the train 😂 for no reason for the "authentic experience" .
Guys the yellow line is the main line other than blue which runs through the heart of delhi with some main important stops so this line is always the busiest and you were actually travelling at the time when people finish their work in home and head towards markets ...so in india we have dinner time around 9 average time
You can get metro card of 150 rs and you will get 100 rupees as balance. You can recharge card at wending machine, online.. Card are available at counter after security check section. There are no queue to get a card 😊😊😊
25:43 The crispy thing that they break up in there is the actual "kachori", the dish is named after it. You can sometimes just eat the dry crispy kachori by itself as a snack, with some curry or even ketchup, like a samosa.
Welcome to the capital. Here Delhites love the guest and give warm welcome to them. Like the guy who gave his tickets to both of you. Thanks for appreciating him. But, most people don't because people don't trust us delhites. It's true some people are bad but can't blame everyone for that. Have a nice day:).
You can go directly to that station by taking a ticket from any station and from any line in Delhi Metro, there is no need to buy tickets again and again...🇮🇳🇮🇳 love from IND..
Metro tickets are from the arriving station to the departing station you don't need to buy tickets for different trains as long as you are in the metro stations.
Try bought LASSI tetra pack of 200/250ml pack , can be found in grocery stores so that when ever you eat something chilly, you can sip the lassi...and cool down your spices also curd/lassi is GOOD FOR GUT & FOOD DIGESTION....
Hey @ChaseandShelbs you dont need to buy two different tickets , you can simply buy a ticket for your end destination that is Lajpat Nagar . Also direct tickets are cheaper too.
Thank god you traveled in our metro.Whole of india 1.4 billion people, scientists, engineers, doctors including modi ji all were eagerly waiting for you and now they all feel overwhelmed someone from hi class country visited India🙂👍
This happens in China too They help tourists so much like we do in India. I have seen many Indian vlogs in China where local Chinese people were helping very much. So stop commenting this nonsense 😑
thank you guys for not recording inside the train, people don't realise it's invading others privacy who don't wanna be on camera. really appreciate guys, cool video
9:16 It's not actually "a lot of the time here", but they just separated you at the security check because they were gonna pat you down / frisk you, although it was just a metal detector frisk, but still, the ladies' queue will obviously have a female security officer/ cop.
wala doesn't mean seller, you can think of it as "someone/something who". It generally depicts relation. Like "Khaaney waala", khaaney means "to eat", so combining it with "waaley" will mean "someone who is related to eating/food", depending on context, it can mean, food seller, or food eater. Most of the shop add "wala"("wale" for plural) at the end to depict their place of origin, like "chandni chowk waale" means "someone from/related to chandni chowk". Here "Pappu Singh Kachori wala" will mean "Pappu singh who sells Kachori" or "Pappu singh kachori seller"
you can try laal mass (non-veg) it is very famous in Bikaner, Rajasthan. it is royal food of our Rajput kings and Rajasthan is popular known for its royalty, culture, sand dunes, etc. .
Delhi metro is literally the best metro in India.. It's spread around entire Delhi and you can go to anywhere using metro along with economic fare and all facilities.. The best way to beat traffic is take a metro in Delhi and you are done

I see some Indonesians writing negative things about India so im going to copy paste my reply for them. I think your view of India is restricted to some parts of Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Remember that India is much bigger and has a lot of things that Indonesia doesnt have. For one, India has 15 cities with metro systems. Yes, 15 separate cities with metros. Indonesia only has 1 in Jakarta, and the system in smaller than 12 of India's 15. India has oceans on 3 sides, and hence many beaches. Thar Desert at the border with Pakistan, the desert cities are tourist attractions with many ancient forts, temples and palaces. Then there are religious cities like Amritsar (for Sikhs the Golden Temple), Varanasi, Ujjain, Rameshwaram and Rishikesh (for Hindus), Patna, Bodh Gaya, Kushinagara and Dharamshala (for Buddhists). In these cities you can experience a more spiritual side of India. Only in Varanasi I can think of crowded and chaotic somewhat. And then there are backwaters and lush green hills along the west coast for hiking and jungle trekking. For those who dont like the heat, they can visit the Himalayan regions (Uttarakhand, Himachal, Kashmir, Ladakh, Sikkim and Arunachal states) as well as the nature centric Northeastern region, where tribes live along with nature. There are snow capped mountain ranges and National parks where one can see the many iconic animals in India, such as elephants, tigers, Asiatic lions (live only in India), peacocks, rhinos, river dolphins and many more. Again, your view of India is skewed and biased. Hope you fix your view. If you are not one of the Indonesians talking trash in the comments im sorry, this was meant for your countrymen who are doing that in the comments. Indonesia is undoubtedly a beautiful country in its own right.
Saya sebagai orang Indonesia merasa malu terhadap sikap orang Indonesia yg berkomentar negatif terhadap India, saya minta maaf pak mereka hanya sampah.🙏🙏
Hello Guys If you are still in Delhi would love to host you for Breakfast/lunch/dinner at my house. And would take you to all the best Street food of delhi A treat from my side as a welcome gift for visiting India😊
When you are changing the lines like yellow to pink, you don’t need to but the ticket again. like on one ticket you can change the line and go to the destination, without taking specific ticket again.
1. You don't need to buy multiple tickets, just buy one ticket for final destination doesn't matter how many lines you have to change. 2. You can buy tickets online it's a lot easier and tickets will come to your mobile phone as a QR code 3. You should buy a metro card , the travel is easier and cheaper compared to ticket, you can return that card any time and you will get your refund for that. Good luck and safe travel😊
In case you have doubts about the people waiting in line, Delhi has on an average 500,000 people who are non-migrants, non-workers in the city, just passing through to other parts of India. Those are the people waiting for tokens and tickets in the line....
Hi guys, stay healthy.. Thankful someone helped your buy tickets, but it seems like it's easier to buy tickets in Indonesia, you don't have to queue for KRL, MRT, LRT & Busway so using 1 card can be multi-functional. Have fun, enjoy the holiday👍💪❤🤩
@@ajieanindito5566There is one common mobility card which is still being popularised & it takes time to make its adoption & usage convenient and easy across different Rapid Transit lines, since all of these are being built & operated by different provincial govt + central govt & private cos consortium. It’s a massive effort to streamline & bring everything under one roof. India is quite big compared to Indonesia & also we’re still learning making everything tourist friendly (in all aspects). It takes time. With that being said, without the one mobility card there are other payment apps which allow buying (& scanning tickets) directly from the app itself without the hassle of getting in queue or even getting a card. I believe that’s much more convenient. But most foreigners don’t know it. Hopefully that reaches out to more & more ppl in future.
4:53 general advice, never buy tickets from an unknown/unaffiliated person in India, chances are you will get duped or be overcharged. You are lucky that guy was actually a helpful guy, but next time avoid such things, that doesn't mean stop taking helps altogether, people in India are in general helpful especially towards tourists, but when it comes to any sort of tickets or buying stuffs on your behalf, avoid it.
U can see visit south India u can see variety of different foods temples heritage and culture especially Kerala and Tamil Nadu it's amazing Kerala, munnar, kochi, wayanad
You people done a little mistake, you don't have to take ticket again without exect metro station. You can take ticket directly to anywhere and inter change you metro from yello line to pink line and you don't have to buy again ticket .
the station seemed familier then i realised it is chattarpur, i commute from here regularly :) btw it is crowded because of the famous temple and a festival week is going on also you just need to know the station you are starting from and the one you are going to, no need to buy the tickets again as long as you are in delhi metro, there is a aqua line which has separate tickets because a different org owns it noida metro
If you are shopping at Lajpat Nagar, a tip is to talk to ladies shoppers at the shop. They will get you the right price. 😂 Or else some of the rates are inflated and you have to bargain a lot. Tip no. 2 -- for any kind of street food, it's generally fresh, but since your gut is not used to the foreign oil, spices or water, it might give you an upset stomach. So always take a digestive medicine after eating street food. Consult any medical store for digestive medicine. If you are regular slowly your dugestive system adjusts to it.
