She's not going to remember going to Disneyland, but she's going to look back on the videos and pictures and know that her parents love her so much from day one, and that they were so happy to experience lots of trips as a family. ❤

You said that it was cool to see her eyes light up but it is so neat to see your eyes light up. Both of you show how much you love Story every step of the way. You show why adoption is needed. You show those young girls that are considering giving up their baby how wonderful it can turn out. Story is so well loved.
My firstborn daughter is in her 30’s now but your videos remind me of how excited I was to be a first time mom. I remember being so excited to do all the “things” that I couldn’t wait for her to be old enough to understand what was going on. I put her in her high chair and showed her how to dye Easter eggs when she was barely six months old. It is such a pleasure watching the excitement for your new daughter.

What a fun trip! It doesn't matter that she won't remember, what matters is the experience. It's like muscle memory...being together, having fun, experiencing new things helps her little developing brain and is banking that good time together that she will draw from when she hits a snag. You are such attentive parents and she's so laid back, if she is stressed you'll catch it and do what you know she needs. Every baby is different. One of my kids would have had a meltdown as soon as we entered the gate, but others would have had a blast. You have a sweet family

I can’t wait to see your future trips to Disneyland!!! I’m a die hard Disney fan and this video melted my heart. I took my son every year from the time he turned 1 and my daughter has gone every year since she was 6 months old. They are now adults. It’s the best memories ever and greatest pictures. Take it all in because it goes by so fast.

We love Disney! I have a special needs daughter that is wheelchair bound. We love to go because Disney has so many accommodating rides for wheelchairs and my daughter feels so included. Its hard to find family things to do and go to have her feel included. I am glad Story had a great first trip

This Alabama gal just found these videos, what a glorious day to get your baby, I'm curious...how did "Story" get her name? She's adorable! I'm 73 and was adopted when I was 4 I. Germany and came back to the states in 1955.
110% honesty…. I cried myself!! It brings back so many memories of my little ones were her age, and I remember crying myself for all their 1’s!! I know that you two are so proud and blessed that story is such a happy calm amazing little girl… however, the way children act is by what their parents teach them!! So please remember how amazing of parents you are, you both are beautiful on the inside and out. You are doing an amazing job, raising your sweet little blessing!
