Our first family vacation! The idea of traveling with this little guy for the first time was a bit overwhelming, but we attacked it head on. Super exciting but also possibly quite humbling to travel with a newborn, but luckily Preston was a champ both ways. Super happy about that, but that being said, we learned a lot so fast about how to travel with a child and what to not do next time. And on top of that traveling with 60 frozen bags of breast milk in a cooler was definitely an interesting move in general. But anything for the little guy!
We decided to go to Mustique as the quarantine restrictions worked with our 2 week timeline. It's a stunning island and I had been once before for my 40th bday when Hannah surprised me.
This time we stayed at a villa called Sleeping Dragon which is owned by a friend of Hannah's family. It made for a wonderful stay, overlooking the ocean, and on the windy side of the island, which is beneficial for less mosquitoes (FYI Mustique means Mosquito).
We parked there for the 2 weeks, stayed to ourselves until we were cleared to mingle, and then met some great people, played some tennis and introduced the little man Preston to the pool, his first ocean dip, and his first island air! So many firsts for him and so many more to come.

@@moonbeeps in Africa it’s not even about privilege, it’s about getting help and allowing your life to get on with or without the baby!! I don’t see any problem with them having a nanny at all, and honestly only a confident woman won’t even worry what the nanny is wearing cause she knows her relationship is solid!! Plus just think about it the nanny wouldn’t have packed without asking what to pack for!! You saw Hannah she wasn’t even looking at the nanny means it doesn’t matter to her!! Why is it a problem to all of you???

I see nothing wrong with them hiring someone younger to take care of their kid, I am sure she was hired because of her experience and great references. and everyone's talking about Brendan, what about Hannah, you don't know which way chole swings. just saying don't make assumptions. @@chanilevines5026 I literally don't see these comments you and others are referring to, but I can imagine what they are and why. My guess is they've all seen the movie "Hand that Rocks the Craddle." That said, when you're as young as Chloe, you're not a nanny, you're probably a babysitter. Experience comes with some age, and yes, why set up what could be a cliche scenario, tempting the husband w/ hot, young "nanny?"

The seaweed is an indication of how healthy the ocean is around the islands. It can be a hassle but is a good sign! I was feeling sad when you were packing up to leave. I know that feeling! 😎✌️🤙🤘😎

I love Samsung too! I am so jealous , when I was in my 20s and 30s traveled through South America, Caribbean and backpacked through all of Europe. Now i chill. At home with dogs and home. Plus my own inground salt water pool. I do miss a great beach

My first job ever was just out of high school and I had just turned 18. I was hired by the City of Houston to work in the typing “pool” in the City Secretary’s office. In less than 3 months I was promoted to the front office with just one lady between me and the City Secretary. I was immediately shunned by the other typists who had been there much, much longer than I had. They talked loud enough for me to hear their snide remarks. Mostly about my dresses and skirts being too short. Oh, and my hair was too long. I had never been subjected to such hatred and meanness in my life. (And I grew up with 3 older sisters! 😁) Many days I went home in tears. My mom tried to console me but I let their pettiness get to me. I changed jobs after only 9 months. Took me a while to acquire a tough skin but I eventually did. People can be smart, accomplished, honest and faithful no matter their age or appearance. I hope Chloe takes any negative comments with a grain of salt. That’s all they’re worth. 😎✌️🤙🤘😎

We also had Nanny who was very young when she joined our family as young girl.. Later did basic schooling and later got married.. Still she used to work for us Nanny.. She Did travel to Germany, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Australia when we were travelling to take care of us.... It's a person that makes a difference... Everyone is not bad or ungrateful...

Beautiful - I got my passport recently and waiting daughter for hers. I love the plane. My favorite mode of transportation. I am glad you were able to have a nanny to look after Preston so you were able to have to quality time together. He was exposed to a lot of beauty that he will never remember. But I did that also for my grands when one was an infants and others toddlers. I felt like the sky was the limit because they weren't afraid of flying. Thanks for sharing

I want to make myself very clear, I have been following Brendan and Hanna's story sense the beginning. That may make me a little protective over them!( As silly as that may seem to some ) I have a heart investment with them... @Glenda Stevens Perhaps you didn't see some of the comments that I did about the way that chloe was dressed or saying that there were probably hookups happening. to me, that is wild, uncalled for + disrespectful. I didn't mention in my comment what anyone else's preference was or should or shouldn't be. as a younger nanny (but older than some), I'm standing up for others in the profession, like chloe, who are taking up space as young people + doing just as good of a job or better than someone who is much older. I think it's clear that hannah + brendan don't have an issue with chloe's age, the way she's dressed, her looks, etc. some may want an older woman, some don't. the families that I have worked with appreciate having a young nanny who can move around easily, play (running, jumping, climbing, getting on the ground) with their children + carry heavier items. I'm one of the top caregivers with my agency who has only worked with families where the parents are older than me + there's been no issues. we become a family. the parents either feel like older siblings or younger parents to me + their children feel like my nieces/nephews or younger siblings. which, might I add, is the dynamic many parents are looking for between their child(ren) + nanny. anyway, I understand people wanting to be helpful but I also believe there's a way in which it can be done respectfully + not projecting one's own traumas, insecurities, etc. on to someone else, especially if the "advice" is unsolicited.

@@tillytay2014 I totally agree with you. I thought we were past that in the modern world. so it's like attractive, young people who genuinely love children + helping families shouldn't get work because they're young + attractive? that's crazy to me. people can have their own personal preferences + it can just be that. it's weird to me that people so freely make assumptions, tell others how to live their lives + what decisions they should or shouldn't make.

First time I saw u guys.... Must say that happiness and quality life is something that we are living already but we don't see it or feel it.... Happiness is something we have feel n believe that it's there other wise nothing can be done to get it out sourced... Wonderful vlogs

I'm glad places like this have strict COVID protocols to protect their workers, even for (or especially for) the wealthy who can travel at this tough time, with their nannies. This is a fascinating insight into a world that most of us never get to experience. And maybe that's a good thing in the end.

@@JohnTaylorR-A-G because this lifestyle is excessive and focuses on consumption and advertisements for stuff, so much stuff. To live like this is not sustainable with the limited resources humans have available on this planet.
